I looked up from my computer and saw none other than Carter Fields standing in front of my desk with some beautiful flowers.

I handed Ava the pictures. She looked through each of them in excitement.

Eliza : Girl don't be like that. Just because she's Mason's secretary-

Work was pretty chill today. I managed to finished everything without stressing out much.

Eliza and I agreed to go clubbing tonight. We re-touched our makeup and then were ready to go. We went in separate cars so we could go home from there.

Juliet : To grow my career as much as I can. Economy is my passion.
Mason : Math has always been my headache.
Juliet : I always loved math.
Mason : Intelligence is a quality of yours then.

Mason : Nah I'm Mason outside of work. You make me sound old. I'm still quite young.

Mason : So what's up with Carter?
Juliet : Oh nothing really. I just met him yesterday.
Mason : Oh I thought you knew him.
Juliet : No that's why the flowers shocked me.

Mason : Boyfriend?
Juliet : No but he's not my type.

Juliet : I just don't want someone who immediately starts flirting. I want a friendship first.

Mason and I talked and talked. Topic after topic. It was an ongoing conversation.

Eliza never came back! We lost her.

Mason : Oh shit I was supposed to meet Ava two hours ago.
Juliet : Dang we've been here for hours?

Juliet : Very!
Mason : I should get going.
Juliet : I guess I'll walk out with you. I don't see Eliza anymore anyway.

I grabbed my purse and we walked out to the parking lot. He parked close to my car.

Mason : It was fun talking to you.
Juliet : -smile-

I came to the club in search for a distraction. Ava and I got into another fight.

Knowing her, another fight is waiting for me. I'm debating whether I should go talk to her now or tomorrow morning.

But if I don't go now things are going to get worse.

Ava's Apartment

Mason : -walks in-
Ava : Where were you and with who?
Mason : Ava drop it!
Ava : No! I want to know!
Mason : Babe I felt because of this in the first place! I don't want to fight so I'll just go to my apartment!
Ava : Wait no- I'm sorry....
Mason : ...
Ava : It's just......I'm scared to lose you Mase.
Mason : Ava I'm marrying you. Look at the ring on your finger.

Mason : Let's go to sleep yeah? We have work tomorrow.
