On the outside, Aqua was calm, collected, and the person she always is. On the inside, however...
'How can I do this? This exam is one of the hardest tests Keyblade weilders have to face! What if both of us fail? What if-'
"Aqua, what are you doing?"
She spun around to face her best friend Terra who would also be taking the exam. He didn't seem to be freaking out at all.
'How can he be calm at a time like this?'
"Hello?" He waved a hand in front of her face.
"Oh! I, uh...I'm getting ready!"
"Really?" He didn't seem convinced. "Aqua, you've been staring at the wall for 10 minutes. Maybe you should take the exam later." He started walking away before feeling something pull on his hand.
"Wait! I'm ready! I'm just...nervous, okay?"
"Nervous? Ven's not nervous and he's taking the exam!"
"..." Aqua didn't know what to do, or what to say. She was panicking again, she could feel it.
"Aqua, look at me. Take a deep breath."
She did as Terra said and tried to steady her breathing. Fortunately, his eyes were very distracting and nice to look at. Once she calmed down he led her away from the wall to meet Ven.
"Let's show Master what we're made of."
"Yeah!"
