~Gajeel's POV~

"Un, urgh." Blinking a few times, I awoke sitting propped up at the base of a tree, a small white blanket draped over me. The air was chilly and the sun was setting on the horizon over the forest, making the sky glow orange, pink, and blue. I'd comment on it if one my mind was fuzzy and two my body wasn't heavy and sore at the moment, especially my hip and shoulder. Catching the scent that wafted off the pearly blanked, I automatically recognized it. "Levy.." I mumbled, my throat feeling dry the moment I spoke. Before I got worked up, the blue haired mage thankfully appeared, walking with a wet cloth in hand. 'Wait, was that my headband?'

"Ah, your awake." She said lightly. Though she had a smile on her face, I could tell something was wrong, but at the time I said nothing. She walked over and dabbed my forehead with the cool wet cloth, which indeed was my headband.

"W-here?" As I made an attempt to get up, she quickly placed her hands on my shoulders, warning me not to move and urging me to stay down. Only then did I notice that I was one, shirtless under the white blanket that had now fallen down to my waist, but that I had two nasty bleeding bandages on my right hip and on leading over my entire left shoulder. "Thanks" I said in return. Happy she did indeed keep me down, as I gave a heavy exhale trying to get my thoughts in order.

"We were on a mission." Levy spoke up noticing my eyebrows furred, somthing I only did when pissed of or thinking way to hard. As she began unwrapping the soiled bandages around my shoulder, she continued. "To protect and transport a Doctor to Moria town, remember?" She looked at me worried.

"That's right." I recalled and she smiled, worried i'd lost my memory. "Master asked us to escort a special medical Mage through a dangerous forest, so that he could reach a town plagued by a rare disease only he could cure." I said as my brain laid out the recent events in proper order. What I remembered next only pissed me off. "Bandits" The word came out in irritated hissed.

~Sometime Earlier~

A third of the way there a large band of bandits had attacked, I told Levy to go ahead with the medic and beat the two idiots blocking our path, clearing then a way. As they ran ahead I stayed behind to handle the bunch of morons. "Today's not you guys lucky day now is it?" Cracking my knuckles the show started. One asked the same question back at me while a few brave volunteers rushed forward, unable to wait for the unavoidable ass kicking that already awaited each and every one of them. "I've been irritated lately, this is the perfect way to blow off some steam." While I was enjoying the fight greatly, pummeling could wait as I heard Levy's an the medics. They screams echoed through the forest and my instincts kicked into overdrive.
'Get to levy now' they screamed. As I turned my eyes away from the fight, an underhanded bandit, whom obviously had never wielded a magic weapon before, let alone a magic sword. Tested his chances and ended up having the damned thing explode into hundreds of smaller daggers, taking out himself and his buddies all at once. As I rushed ahead to aid Levy and the medic, I facepalmed upon arrival. Seeing that one of the forest giant non-venomous and curious frogspiders has jumped out of the overgrowth and scared the two. Though when their eyes turned to my now judging self, their expressions looked horrified. "What?" I asked confused. In defense of myself I was so focused on Levy's scream I didn't notice the fuckery unleashed a few minutes ago, let alone feel the blades dig into my shoulder and slash my hip, from the idiot bandits fuck up.

~Currently~

Returning from my flashback I cursed mentally at myself. 'Shit, I lost to much blood and passed out.' Looking up, I noticed Levy staring at me, her smile having faded. Not only that but her tiny fist were balled and she was shaking. "Shrimp this is not big deal, I'll be fine in a few days." I tried to comfort her, shes just worrying to much.
She didn't respond.
"Shrimp?"
