Setting: Shared bedroom

Summary: You and Yoongi wake up after Yoongi had another nightmare. You comfort him and you both fall back to sleep.

Sujin woke up to the sound of Yoongi hyperventilating.

"Yoongi are you ok? Yoongi-" He whispered in a concerned tone.

Yoongi wakes up and looks at Sujin with a terrified look in his eyes.

"Yoongi, are you ok?" Sujin whispers with concern written all over his face.

Sujin goes to turn the lamp on their nightstand on, both of them squinting their tired eyes for a few seconds before they got used to the light.

"J-Ji, it was all a nightmare wasn't it? Oh my god I was so scared," Yoongi said as he leaned to hug Sujin tightly.

"Another one, huh?" Sujin says as he runs his hand through Yoongi's hair, "Don't worry Yoongs., I'm right here, ok?"

"Yeah I know, but it always feels so real," Yoongi says as he wipes a small tear from his face.

Sujin pulls away from the hug, "I'll be right back, I'll go get you a glass of water," Sujin says as he hops out of bed.

Yoongi nods his head and turns to look at the picture of them on their nightstand; he smiles. They had taken it while they were on vacation last summer, it felt like just yesterday they had splashing salty sea water at each other.

But soon that smile turns into a frown when he wonders, if at some point, Sujin got tired of him, what would he do? He didn't have anywhere else to go.

Soon enough, he can hear Sujin's footsteps coming back towards their bedroom,"Yoongi-ah, I'm back," he stops when he says Yoongi frowning, "What's wrong? And don't tell me 'it's nothing', I know that face very well"

"Sujin, I'm-" he cuts himself off, "I'm scared, I-I'm scared you'll leave me at some point, I know the nightmares aren't real but it still scares me," Yoongi says as he looks down at the bedsheets in shame.

Sujin sits up next to Yoongi and lifts his chin up so he's looking directly at Sujin's face, "It's ok Yoongi, it's ok to be scared, but always remember that I'll always be here with you. I don't care how many times I have to tell you to take out the trash or to lock the door on your way out, I'm always going to be here"

Sujin leans forward and leaves a comforting kiss on Yoongi's forehead. It hurt seeing Yoongi like this; he looked so scared and alone. These nightmares were happening more and more often, and it was taking a toll on Yoongi. But even with all of this, his love for Yoongi never faded, and if anything, it just made him want to love Yoongi even more. He knew very well what it felt like to be so scared and alone, and he knew he had to help Yoongi through all of this no matter what it took.

Yoongi leaned in to hug Sujin, "Thanks Ji"

Sujin put his arms around Yoongi, gently rubbing his back and rocked him back and forth until peacefully drifting off to sleep in his arms.

He lays Yoongi back down to bed and sighs with a sad smile, "We'll be alright"
