ℳ𝒾𝓈𝓈𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓅𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓊𝓂𝑒𝒹 𝓈𝒾𝓃𝑔𝓁𝑒 𝓅𝒶𝓇𝓉 2

I went around town on my bike but Mike wasn't anywhere to be seen, I even followed Liam's stupid assumption that he'd be in the pub necking a pint of beer. But he wasn't there either, for once it's us chasing after Mike not the other way round. Now I know how he felt each time me and Lucas did a runner.

*Chloe* No luck Liam, I'll come to the DG but I'm not sure he'll turn up xxx

*Liam* Least you tried babe😘 xxx

I made my way to the dumping ground, I changed out of my leathers and into a simple black bodysuit with black trousers. With a white jacket over the top, Liam commented that I looked like a mob boss.

After catching up with Tee, Lily, Frank, Bailey and the twins we got to the house. The one place we all called home for a certain amount of time, the place I fell in and out of love until I found my forever in the gobby cockney scammer.
Who I'm gonna end up marrying, and I don't regret it one bit. But we was all denied access by two boys. This should be interesting.

"No entry" the oldest one said and we all looked at the boys confused.

"Come again lads? I taught you said no entry" Lucas said folding his arms across his chest. The younger one piped up,
"What he said, no. entry" He repeated, causing Tee to scoff "Are you two serious?" And Liam interjected "We're on the guest list, who are you two anyway?" Liam asked and the two boys weren't having any of it. "We're the door men" they responded. "So you think you can stop us yeah?" Bailey chuckled. They both nodded.

Lucas chuckled "I can predict that you two will be the most arrogant bouncers ever" then Lily cut in "Alright, less of the macho, fights happen after the wedding not before" I decided to joke "Unless the mother's are both fighting over who's son looks the best in their suits" but even then the boys wouldn't budge. So, me and Lucas stepped in and Percy was holding back laughter.

"Guys, I don't want to fight kids so if you'd be so kind as to let us past we would appreciate it" Lucas said but his threat had no affect on the boys. "Maybe next time luccy" Percy chuckled and Lucas rolled his eyes.

"Look lads, we used to live here and we're not just dressed fancy for the sake of it. I'm Chloe Stone, you know famous Irish singer, I used to run this place sooo you might wanna be fine gentlemen and show us to to the venue in the garden or I'll let my brother lose and we are all clearly dressed for the occasion so are you really gonna haggle with me?" I raised an eyebrow and they challenged us further "Who's wedding?" The youngest boy challenged and I laughed "Your pulling my leg you two, Mike. You know Irish bald guy with a weird taste in summer shirts, who's possibly given you his mystery stew that gives you food poisoning" the oldest one shrugged "Loads of mikes in the world" the twins interjected in sync. "Mike Milligan"

Then Liam smirked "You two gonna step aside or what?"

After Lucas almost had a fight with two kids we made it to the garden, I looked around and it was done up nicely and in typical DG fashion the cake wasn't exactly great. "Well, the cakes ruined" One of the kids said and I chuckled "If that's a cake then Tracy Beaker is a good cook" and Tyler's eyes widened "Liam! Chloe! Lucas!" He smiled and Lucas laughed "Tyler! Floss!... Where's my wee sister?" Lucas asked poking his head around the marquee. Tyler scratched the back of his neck "She's out looking for Mike, she told me to tell you guys she'll see you once she's found Mike" Tyler told us and Liam winked at me "She's taking after you, looks like she's running this place" Liam kissed my cheek and I blushed. "Well, if anyone was going to take my place it had to be her. I doubt Mike would want a thirty year old Lucas living with him" Lucas gasped mockingly, "excuse me! Mike loves me, I'm like the best resident he ever had" Lucas smiled. And I rolled my eyes, "Whatever helps you sleep at night Lucas" Emma commented.

"So? Have you lot got brain fog or what? We all need to sort that catastrophe of a cake out, distract the bride until Mike turns up with a good explanation, I hope." I began and they all looked at me with frowns. "What if he doesn't come back?" Floss asked and I smiled "Mike isn't like that Floss, there's obviously a reason he's gone AWOL but until then we all need to pull ourselves together and just hope Fiona doesn't find out he's gone and leaves" I huffed.

Wow, it was like I never left. Lily and Tee both smiled at me including Emma and Percy who were laughing at the irony. "Wow, Chloe Stone still runs the place after almost eight years" Tee commented and I laughed "Well someone's gotta do it"

Later on

After Jody told us Fiona left, there was a huge problem. Mike, Tracy, Ryan and Roxy finally made it but it was too late. Mike came running into the marquee with a bike helmet on, Lucas chuckled "What were you doing Mike? A pre wedding bike ride up a hill or something?" Mike laughed as he looked at all of us.

"Wow, you all made it! Tee, Lily, Percy, Emma and Liam!" He gave Liam a high five and smiled at me "Chloe, I heard your song on the radio yesterday. It was as if you were still belting out ballads in the kitchen that used to be spotless" I laughed "Well, it looks like my sister has everything covered now" I smiled at Roxy who gave me a wink.

"Lucas! Still cracking jokes I see" Mike smiled as he gave my brother a fist bump and Lucas smiled "I was the only one keeping you young with my jokes Mike, I see you still haven't taken my advice about hair transplants" Lucas chuckled and Mike rolled his eyes playfully. "Yeah yeah Lucas very funny" and after Mike got reacquainted with everyone, it was time to break it to him. Fiona wasn't walking down the aisle, "Come on you lot! I'm getting married!" Mike smiled and Lucas stood up "Mike, there's something you need to know" He sighed and looked at Lily who seemed too afraid to talk. "Fiona isn't coming" Jody told him and Mike still didn't buy it "What? She is" and Liam shook his head, "Mike" and I sighed "Mike, the weddings off" Mikes smiled turned into a frown and everyone's expressions became sympathetic and I rested my head on Liam's shoulder.

I saw Ryan wear the same look he did the day I chose Liam, but there was guilt too. Roxy glared at him "Happy now are you Ryan? All because Mike didn't pick you to be best man, you know all you've done is cause trouble ever since my sister left. You think that the whole entire world evolves around Ryan Reeves and if he doesn't get his way he throws a tantrum like a BIG BABY!" My sister screamed at him and Lucas held her back and I stood in the middle of Roxy and Ryan. "Roxy, calm down okay? Lucas, take her into the living room" Lucas nodded and ushered Roxy away who was then followed by Alex. I looked at Ryan who smiled slightly "You look well Chloe, I knew you'd be best dressed.." I cut him off.

"Oh shut up Ryan, my sister is right your so selfish, today was about Mike marrying the woman he loves. I'm shocked a woman would be crazy enough but here we are but that's not the point, the point is because of your ever growing ego, Mike went after you because he cares about you so much that it's cost him what was supposed to be the happiest day of his life" I told him and Ryan nodded. "Your right blu- Chloe, I am selfish. I didn't mean for it to end up like this though, last thing I wanted was to ruin mikes big day" Ryan sighed as we all waited around for a bride that was probably not coming.

I tried to comfort Mike and he was still trying to keep positive. "Mike, you know when I met you I was a scared young girl. I only had my brothers and my mother was no where, I wasn't the best neither was Lucas. We gave you a hard time at first because we were hurting deep down but we appreciate everything you did, you were the first person to not give up on us. No matter how loud we were well, Lucas was" I told him and he chuckled lightly.

"But, we wouldn't be where we are today if it wasn't for you Mike, we'd be in trouble or in prison or worse. You made that difference. But whatever the outcome of today is, don't let it get you down Mike Milligan. You are one of a kind, almost like a dad to me and Lucas" I smiled and Mike hugged me. "I am so proud of you and Lucas, I hope I get an invite to one of your weddings" Mike chuckled.

It wasn't long until I was going to ask him to walk me down the aisle with Stevie anyway.
