It was one of my favorite times of the year...spring. It meant all the beautiful flowers were finally blooming...I always loved how pretty the cherry blossoms looked when the trees were full of those gorgeous pink flowers and if the wind blew just right, the flower petals would make a path or a pile on the roads and sidewalks.
As soon as I saw that I couldn't help but run through it...little did I know that would be the end of my life as a human.

I was a victim of a drive-by...I remember a car rushing towards me, I moved out of the way before I saw a gun in my face....darkness followed. But don't worry...this is not the end of my story. This is the beginning of my new life in a new world...

What happened...? Wait where am I? I thought in confusion before my eyes opened...There was a large rock formation around me. It looks like I'm in a cave. But there's a giant hole in the top of the cave, letting the sunlight warm my body.
Within the cave are bright pretty glowing crystallized formations, each a different color. Around the crystallizations are plants and small flowers. I slowly sat up to look at myself over...bones.

My hands and feet...no my everything is nothing but bones. Am...Am I a skeleton?!?!
I felt my face and it too was nothing but bone. I felt surprisingly calm about this. I suppose, I'm no longer human. I don't see a reason to question it. Especially since...I think I don't have a choice, this is my new body and life now.
Well, the only thing reasonably left to do is move on and figure out where I am.
Staying positive is my specialty. I sighed gently before standing up. I'm wearing interesting clothes too. Kinda like something I'd see in a fantasy book. I look like I'm wearing a mage's outfit or at least I think?
A dark blue cloak and hood is buttoned around my neck to drape over my shoulders. From the waist down—A slightly lighter shirt, pants and old worn down boots, I also have an interesting light rosey red colored design on my clothes too but the colors are quite faded and worn out. My clothes look almost gray or brown.
Mmm...Interesting. First things first...a way out. I thought to myself as I walked around looking for said exit. While I did that, I decided to collect most of the crystallizations and a few flowers just out of boredom...and mostly because I had a satchel on my hip that never seemed to get full. Like an infinite inventory in a video game.
When I finished that I stumbled upon a passageway. Okay! Now we're talking! I quietly walked through the passageway until I found myself in another part of the cave. Well, it wouldn't be an adventure if it was too easy. I do love a challenge and exploring is the best part! I explored the cave. Amongst the cave I found many odd but familiar creatures I had seen or heard of similar or identical to a few video games and fantasy books.
I also found out that for someone without muscles I can punch enemies and kill them, if I so choose. I'm pretty powerful...or the creatures here in this cave are just low level fighters. Either way, I'm pretty lucky.
After a few hours I stopped at a pool of clear water in the cave. I glanced at my reflection. I'm a skeleton and oddly enough I still didn't find this troubling or freaked out. I have brightly blue lights in my eye sockets and for a skeleton I actually have a kind looking face. Or at least that's what I saw.
I giggled to myself before looking through my inventory. I'm loaded with lots of money, I have a lot of potions, lots of herbs and I even have a bow and tons of arrows.
This whole thing feels too much like a video game, so does that mean I have special skills and stats too? If so, how do I look at my stats and stuff?? I sighed softly before washing off in the water. When I got out and got dressed again I sensed someone watching me.
Something or someone launched at me before I moved out of the way, it's a snake but it's huge!! Excitement filled my body as we battled. I wanted to see what it could do so I dodged it, watching how it fights and attacks before striking it back. It died way too easily. I sighed in dismay.

Huh?! Looks like I was right about the stats but I didn't know you could get titles too. I sat down and tried focusing on my stats and then there they were before me.
