5) Cousin

After the grand house tour, Mrs. Davis and Y/N leave there as the older one had a few errands to take care of while Y/N had to break the news to her mother and cousin along with her ultimate bestie.

Both the ladies have some boba on their way as they have skipped their lunch. After a short ride of 30 minutes, Mrs. Davis halts her car in front of an apartment complex, "Good luck, and fighting!" the older cheers while making a fist in the air while Y/N chuckles, "Thank you for believing in me, considering how important this opportunity is, I will always strive to make you proud for keeping your trust in me, I'm forever grateful to you aunt, and I owe you my life not just for this but for everything you've done for me" Y/N says tearing up a little.

"Aygo, look at this girl being all mushy, cheer-up up! You look ugly with tears" Mrs. Davis jokes to cheer the emotional girl, "You are like a daughter to me too Y/N-ah, so don't ever say you owe me anything, just make me proud and that's enough" Mrs. Davis says wiping the tears flowing down the younger's cheek.

"I will!" Y/N says smiling through her tears, "Now get off before I start crying too" the older says shooing the girl out, Y/N nods with a pout before getting out and waving the lady in the car bye, Mrs. Davis waves back and drives off while smiling and shaking her head.

Y/N drags her tired and hungry self towards the elevator and gets in before pressing the button of her home unit's floor, a few minutes later she walks into the hallway and reaches in front of her home unit then punches the lock on the lock pad and walks in and closes the door behind. Waddling towards her room she plops on the bed after reaching her room.

"I'm so tired...and hungry" she mumbles into the pillow before tilting her face aside and sighing out, taking her mobile out of her sling bag she goes through her contacts before dialing the certain number which she hasn't done in a while.

The call rings a few times before the latter picks the call,

"Hello my dear cousin"

Y/N says in an extra sweet tone but soon her lips form a pout hearing the latter's response

"Ugh, just drop by my place if you have nothing to do, I have to talk to you about something"

"Yeah, now"

***

"You can have dinner here"

***

"Hmm...See ya"

And she hangs the call before putting the mobile away and getting up from the bed. Grabbing a pair of comfortable loungewear she proceeds to wash up and gets changed and walks back to the living room after grabbing her mobile.

Grabbing a pack of chips she gets cozy on the couch and then proceeds to scroll through Netflix. Finally deciding to watch a drama featuring one of her favorite actors- Lee Min-Ho with Jun Ji-Hyun, she clicks on the desired series (which she's been wanting to see but couldn't due to her busy schedule) and starts with the first episode.
