Hey guys this chapter may be a little short cause I have issues going on, but I'll try to update another chapter that will be longer.

Echo's Pove
I finally did it. I finally passed my AP bio class. Now all my grades are A's. And now I can get my new camera that I've been wanting.
"Echo! I need you to go to the store and get me some eggs and pick out what kind of cake batter you want," my mom yelled from down stairs.
I sat up from my bed and looked around for my calendar. Uh oh...I totally lost track of the date. I groan and get out of bed and put on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt with sandles.
I walk down stairs and see my mom in the living room. "Mum do I have to?" I ask her.
She nods and hands me some money.
"If you want a cake for your birthday you have to go get the supplies to make the cake," she says as I take the money. I do want a cake but I'm to lazy to go anywhere.
"Okay. But I want Suzie to make it," I say with a smile.
Suzie is my mum's best friend. She's been like another mother to me, besides my mum of course.vSuzie's husband is like a father figure to me since my dad died. And lastly her son. His name is Elliot but he went to his aunts home in Washington so I haven't seen him since I was 7.
My father died when I was 7 from a forest fire in our town. I still remember that day he said his last words to me. "I promise I'll be back in time to take you and your mom to Suzie's house to see Elliot." After that he ran off onto the woods for his daily run. But sadly he didn't come back.
I grab my phone and jog out of the house to my bike. Since I'm not 16 yet I have to ride my bike to and from places. But I don't mind. It gives me some time to think.
I ride long Hitchhike Rd, leading me from our house to the middle of town. The streets don't look busy today. Its usually busy with tourist traveling through town. I shrug. Its better this way anyhow.
I arrived in front of Wal-Mart. Our town is small but we have a lot of stores like Wal-Mart, McDonald's, Tractor Supply, and even a mall that has a few great stores inside.

Sorry it's short. It's late at night and I have school tomorrow, but I wanted to update another chapter for you guys just to give you background on Echo.
