Perfect Bestie Disaster

Tick...Tock...Tick...Tock

I hear the time ticking and seventh grade is around the corner!

"Hey... i could not sleep so why don't we wake up early?" says my BFF Ashley.

I flip the light switch on, looking at her so excitedly I am sure from my expression she thinks I did not sleep (I kinda did not tbh). 

"You literally read my mind Ashely, lets get packing. Being extra early will not be a bad thing right??". i say

" I don't think so, c'mon lets go" she says.

We rushed down the stairs, switching on every light switch we see. When we get down we find our new backpacks in their rightful places, including cups of half finished coffee right beside them. We carefully move the bags away from the deadly cups of coffee. We do a kinda quick scavenger hunt looking for all possible things we need for seventh grade. We rip out pages that we wrote on from our sixth grade books and stuff them back in our bags also including our new books.

"ohh we are supposed to wake up rn so lets go have a shower and get changed". Ashley says.

We go into separate bathrooms and do our things. I got stuck on what clothes to wear tho so i kinda looked up "What do seventh graders wear to school?" i see Jeans, t-shirt and jacket so.... i will wear blue jeans and a yellow tee and some jewelry with a black sweater in my bag. I do wonder what Ashely is going to wear tho, but since we have the same taste in clothes we might wear something alike!

"Sophia? Sophia? you done??" Ashley whispers.

"Ya i am done come in" i say.

She quietly opens the door so she does not wake up my sister or parents then she looks at me and looks back at herself and is completely astonished.

"We wore the same outfits but different cuz i am wearing a black jean". she says

"Ya we are very interesting, but it is breakfast time so lets go eat".

We go down the stairs turning off some of the light switches this time because it is slightly brighter and then we make our breakfast.

Halfway into our food my sister Ava comes down she looks as good as always and is already ready for her second year in high-school.

"You guys look good actually very very nice, hope you enjoy your day, see ya".

None of us could answer her because she already left before one word came out of our mouths.

"School Time" my mom yelled from her bedroom.

"Ya we know" we both squealed excitedly.

"Hop into the car girls, we do not want to be late do we?" my dad said

As we drive away from our neighborhood we see Ashley's parents and wave to them, but they apparently do not see us. It is never a long ride to the school so we reached there in an amount of time. As we entered we were both excited like really really excited, we waved my dad goodbye and we entered the building.

The school looks more or less similar to how it was in sixth grade but there were a few changes and also new students. Me and Ashley hold hands and go into the Middle School office to get our Agendas's and we see the principal on his desk.

"Ah who do we have here? Ms. Sophia McAlister and... Ms. Ashley McReina. How lovely to see you both again. You know both your older sisters were very best friends too". He says

"We know" we both say

As we leave the room we are excited beyond words.

Together "We got all the same classes yippee".

School Bell: Din Ding Din Ding

Advisory is always the first class we have and there we talk to each other and get to know each other. Then we have our class classes. School is both boring and fun at the same time but idk.

We enjoy ourselves at school and seventh grade is not so much different from sixth grade.
