"You're a failure!" It was a warm day of summer in Toronto, Earth. Sol was bright enough to light up the entire classroom. Calvin Rees was studying and training to become a captain of one of the Federation of Planet's space capitain. "You scored 100% on everything except the Criine Simulator. I don't understand how you can't beat it," said Quogok, Calvin's Xanjarikan instructor. She was a humanoid species, with Ox Blood coloured skin, a flat nose, and no fingernails. Otherwise she look just like a human. "Get to bed, you need rest. You have done the test 99 times, tomorrow is the last time before you are expelled." "Yes madam." is all he said as he bowed his head, and then walked away. But he did not stop. He grabbed a calculator and 100 sheets of paper, and started to work. After five hours, he completed the last possible way to destroy, attack, or defend. Calvin thought hard. If it's impossible, how do i win. Then he remembered. There are enough lifepods on each Starfleet vessle for the crew, and the lithium-warp tanks are hooked up to a last resort. In the sim, the Criine ship never destroies the bridge. The bridge is where Starfleet intel is. Calvin knew excactlly what he was going to do, he went down to the simulator the next mourning. "Alright Calvin, today is your final attempt on the Criine Simulator. If you succeed you will become Capitain of the Federation's newest vessle, the FPSF Victorious. If you fail, you will be expelled from Command School, but may try engineering, medics, or sciences. Good luck." When Quogok finished, the simulator was sealed tight. The lights went on, and he could see the bridge crew piloting towards a Federation-controlled planet on the edge of the border with the Criine Empire. As the ship goes into orbit, the ship is rattled by a large BANG! "Sheilds 100%, damage report!" "Sir, they hit the warp drive, we can't escape." answered the simulated director of engineering. "Divert all power to weapons, life pods, and lithium-warp tanks." Calvin looked.at his control pannel, and pressed the ship-wide announcement button. "Attention crew, this is your capitain speaking. We have been heavily damaged by the Criine attack. I am ordering an evacuation to Hicra, a Federation Planet unknown to the Criine, not far from our current location. The ship will be sent on a collision course with the Criine ship, where it will self-destruct. Alright, you have your orders, let's send these bastards back to hell. Capitain Rees out."
