It's not edited so ntm on me.....
"Hello" grumbled Sekani.
Now Kasiyah knew when one of her peoples were talking and it took her two seconds to realise that it was not Tremani on the phone. She had grown to not be bothered antonio's she didn't care for Tremani or his whereabouts, he didn't think twice about leaving them so she didn't think twice about him.
"Sekani.." she sighed in response.
"Really Aniya?" quizzed Tamari. "You really thought he sounded like a grown ass man."
"Go head and book yourself an ear appointment." said the lady at the desk.
"First of all miss ma'am, you don't even do your job correctly so please." she checked.
"Please don't get mad." rushed Sekani.
"Sekani give the phone back to Memaw." Kasiyah said ending the call.
Tamari decided that enough was enough and that they should all leave. He warned that they needed to send an email with all the details in the next 24 hours, everybody was tired so they headed back home.
The car ride was silent, Kasiyah was so fed up with everything. As she had began to come to terms with the fact that Kamiyah was gone someone had to play mind games with her and she wasn't comfortable at all. She had two other kids to care for and the more she dug deeper into Kamiyah's death the more unsafe she felt.
Aniyah thought kasiyah would be happy to hear Tremani's voice but she clearly was over it, of course she was proud of her friend for moving on and levelling up but she truly missed watching her friend fall in love. They had a strong connection and she seemed to know Tremani better than anyone else, it was sad to see it fall apart so suddenly.
"We going to Thailand." said Tamari.
"No sir I have a store to run."
Aniyah's business was expanding she managed to open another hair salon just because sharing the one she began with with Tremani was a headache. Everytime Kasiyah would come and get her hair done, he'd waltz right in behind her and start touching all the products and checking the cashier like he had any business doing so. And when Aniyah and Kasiyah would say anything about it he'd say he owned half of the store.
Yes he owned half of the store but Aniyah constantly reminded him he didn't put in the work to even have it running, and that was her and Tamari's job.
"Ta-who?"
"Me and Tamari boy don't act like you can't hear me."
"Who the hell is Tamari?" he continued to lie.
"Your best friend." teased Aniyah.
Tremani chuckled, "Come get your best friend Kasiyah before I cut her hair off with these professional scissors." he warned.
"Try me hoe." teased Aniyah.
"Aniyah all imma say is don't cry." laughed Kasiyah.
"Hoe?" he questioned, "you a bald headed hoe now." he said cutting off a lengthy amount of hair causing everybody in the store to turn there chair and look at the scene.
"don't worry about him." sighed Tamari to his client.
"I would keep my mouth quiet if I was you." he pointed at Tamari. "Babe let's go imma do your hair for you." he said ushering Kasiyah out of her chair.
"No thank you, you go home and get the kids from school. Thank you." ordered Kasiyah.
"Who told you that you can do hair, you just about got a fade on your head." added Aniyah.
