Chapter 26- New Information

~Natalie's P.O.V.~

"Seth, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Chase said to Seth, and he nodded. To which my idiot brother, Greyson spoke.

" Are you guys gonna tell us or are you guys gonna keep it to your damn self?"

I swear one of these days I will smack that boy silly. I was going to say something til Seth spoke.

"My parents were killed, and we didn't know who did it. They were coming back from mission when they were ambushed. Every little lead we had would be a dead end. And finding out what their plan was to help Dallas's dad. It makes sense. That Josh's dad wanted to make sure no one can remove him at all." (Author's note: honestly don't remember if I mentioned Seth's parents or their death correct me if I did or did not)

That's when I realized Seth was holding me a little tight and I just grabbed his hand and started to do little circles on the palm of his hand and hummed a little which seemed to help a little. but he still felt tensed. I wouldn't blame him. If something like that happen to anyone, I care for I would feel the same.

That's when the pilot spoke on the speaker," Hi this is the Captain speaking, we are 10 minutes away from landing. Please be seated and buckled for landing." After that Seth suggested that we should continue this at the mansion.

~Skip car ride~

We finally arrived at the mansion and some of Seth's men started to take the suitcases and duffels to our rooms and all the kids filled into the Masion as Kent directed them to the living room and Chase went to tell some maids to make something to eat and some others to watch the kids and have them just relax and watch a movie while we figure things out. Katie didnt want to leave my side. Seth had to bribe her let go with the others and stay there for a while we spoke, but once we were done that I would come back and get her and that we could do whatever she wanted after. Then we all went into Seth's office.

As we stepped into his office, it was enormous to be in office. it seemed more like a library with all the books he had. He had 3 couches plus the big wooden desk along with a couple of chairs. I was about to grab a chair when Seth waved me over to sit on his lap. And once I sat on his lap Seth just relaxed a little before calling someone named Susana, letting her know that if she and some maids to bring us some drinks and something to eat also. But that we could wait while as the kids were needed to be tended too first. After that Seth looked to Chase to start the conversation again.

"What's our plan Seth? With Josh's dad? But isn't Josh the gang leader tho? He was bound to give the leadership to Josh or did he not give it to him?" Chase asked.

That's when I spoke," What if Josh's dad did give him the 'leadership' but he is the one telling Josh what to do? what is Josh is just his puppet? He could just 'guide' or more like manipulate Josh do what he couldn't do during his 'reign'?" That got everyone thinking.

"I think your right baby sis." Spoke Ryder. "It would make sense, but what doesn't make sense is that why would his brother want to get rid of him from being in charge of the gang? Usually, the eldest child takes over the business and the second eldest can be second in command if they want to. And by the looks of it Dallas's dad used to be second in command."

Then Archie spoke," Well by the look of it Dallas's dad was the oldest but decided to be second in command because he didn't want the responsibility that come with being the gang leader." we are all a little surprised with what Archie said. Then someone's phone rang, it was Chloe's. She answered and said then said she would be back.

Then Seth spoke," That explains even more why Josh's dad felt threaten by his brother even more. It was never his place to be the leader in the first place. Every first born has the option to step down if they have other siblings, and if at any point they decide to take their place they can. But why did my parents feel the need to help Dallas's dad? And why couldn't Dallas's dad take his place as leader. This doesn't make sense? But also why after so long he decides to be leader?"

Then I looked to Noah and spoke," Noah do you have any idea or answers to Seth's questions?" He stayed quiet for a minute then looked to Isabella. I was as if he wasn't sure if he should answer or not. but Isabella nodded to him to tell us.

Noah took a deep breath before speaking," I maybe Josh's second in command but he doesn't really tell me much. And that's only because he needs manpower then they tell us the plan. But i remember one day as I was going to the gym to trained, I heard Josh speaking to his father about making deals with the Russians. Also mentioning either sending girls or bringing them. But I think that they are planning on creating a trafficking ring with the Russians." I was horrified with what Noah said and i think everyone else in the room was too.
