On His Birthday

It was a usual day for both the vampires and the humans. Of course, it was war and the vampires never stopped to attack the humans as much as they tried to defend themselves it never really worked out for them. Some of their comrades always lost their life and the humans were sick of it by now. They didn't care how many more times they will lose, they just wanted to end this war but it was harder than they thought.

The vampires on the other side had no intentions of stopping this war. They needed to show the humans that they own them and that they are just their source of life to them. The humans weren't worth much more than that, they just needed their blood to survive and they would go way too far to get this. The war of course didn't end and the vampires would just keep attacking the humans which grew stronger after some time. They got new recruits, new soldiers and they still had their demon gear.

The vampires noticed the humans getting stronger after each new time but it was nothing they needed to be afraid of. They were still just humans to them and they could easily defeat them. Or so they thought. The humans of course thought the opposite and were sure that with enough training and enough new recruits they could defeat the vampires and stop this war. It didn't take the vampires long until they started a new attack and this time, there were more of them, they were stronger and also they wanted to finally use their demon gear in attempt to show the humans that they are still way stronger than them and that the humans wouldn't be able to defeat them, no matter how hard they tried.

This was a dangerous mission for all of them, they didn't know what the humans are capable of but they would still do everything so their species would survive and get the humans blood that they need. Lacus, a common classed vampire and his friend and team mate Rene were also on this mission and of course, mika was with them as well. All three of them made a very powerful trio but mika was still not really on the vampires side. Honestly, he didn't know what side he is supposed be on, he just knew he wanted to be with his yu.

It was still a rather interesting experience for lacus and Rene to go on missions with mika. Lacus would always immediately go at a human to drink their blood if he was in need of it but mika, well, he wouldn't even touch them. This somewhat changed after mika finally drank humans blood and transformed into a full vampire but still, he wouldn't drink anyone's blood, just yuichiros.

lacus was pretty excited for this mission. It was his birthday and he would love to drink some human blood as a small birthday meal. He was as energetic as ever and couldn't even wait to finally jump out of the plane which he annoyed Rene with on their whole flight with.

"René, Renéééé! Can you believe this!? Isn't this just the perfect present for me? A mission on my birthday and I can drink some human blood!! This is the best birthday present ever!"

Rene didn't even bother. Of course he was happy for the other but the main focus was still on their mission and not on his birthday. Though, as the good friend he is, he even had a present for lacus prepared which he wanted to give him after their mission.

"I'm happy for you lacus. I do hope you will enjoy it but you need to keep focus on the mission." he didn't even know how he could stay calm during all this. This was claimed as a really dangerous mission, especially because the humans grew stronger over the time they were in hiding but well, he didn't want to ruin his friends mood with those comments so he kept them to himself

"bla bla bla! Fine i will focus on the mission but once I can lay my fingers on a human I won't hold back from drinking their blood until they die!" after he said this he remained silent for the time being until they got to the right location. René on the other hand turned to the other vampires and took part in their conversations about the humans. Yet he could still feel the other staring at him and he didn't know what to think of it.
