A Love that is Worth the Wait

I wrote this poem to dedicate it to someone who is distance away from me. I met him through a dating app then later on connected each other on messenger. We've been chatting for almost two months but suddenly we stop talking to each other and I don't know why. Still, I want to published this poem for him.

I was actually sure that you are the one for me but maybe I expected too much but still, thank you the short time I had with you.

It was such an isolated dome, dim and lonely.
But suddenly you came and lighted up my world.
Just like a fireworks that shone a light to the peaceful night sky.
You unexpectedly came like a shooting star falling from the starry sky.

I wonder every night, looking forward for everyday's life.
You hooked me with a "How's your day?"
Those little things may not be big, but they're meaningful for me.
Those little efforts that you've made, I appreciate all of it.

In this time, love is unsure.
But you made me sure that its okay to love.
A love that is deep and beyonds imagination.
Just like a trench, it's profound but mysterious.

There's a lot of things that have been unfound.
But whenever I looked to your cavernous eyes.
It seems like every little peace is detectable.
The calmness in your chinky orbs pulled me from the sunless state.

And now, here I am.
Ready to fall in love again.
Waiting to hold your hands,
To kiss your lips,
And hug you with all my heart.

I can't wait to meet you, to look straightly into your eyes.
I can't wait to see you and know what's the feeling of me standing in front of you.
I can't wait to talk with you, to tell you about life and love.
I can't wait to observe every reactions you'll made.

From the eyes that keep gleaming
To your nose that keeps crunching,
And till your lips that keep smiling.
I would love to see the every actions you'll made.

I now wonder how wide will your smile be.
How your eyes will narrowed at my ridiculous remarks.
I wonder of it a lot.

Will my heart pump too much blood if ever I see you?
Will your eyes sucked my breath if you looked straightly into my eyes?
Will my internal organs shake if I see you walking towards me?
I keep thinking about it.

The feelings you've give, its warm and overwhelming.
You swept my feet, making me fall 90 degrees.
I think this love is worth a shot.
A love that might not only be a fleeting moment,

But an everlasting one.
