You just move into town and Camilo is doing his chores when he spots you. He immediately tries to figure out who you are.

Y/N's POV:

I just moved into the Encanto village with my Abuela due to my parents not wanting to take care of me anymore. Plus Abuela was getting older so I said we would move with her to take care of her. When my sister, Gabriela, and I got to the village and settle in, Abuela asked me to go out and get some food that we like. I told Gabriela to unpack and help Abuela around the house before I ran out into the village looking for food shops. I stopped at a few places with food in my hands. My arms were getting tired and I was exhausted from the flight to Columbia. I wanted to just nap and worry about this tomorrow but I already got everything.

I crossed the street and ran into this boy. He was taller/shorter than me, with dark brown curls that suited him well, freckles all over his cheeks, brown eyes, and a thin frame. He smiled at me and then turned his head like a puppy. "I'm sorry, are you new here?" I look down, "Yeah, moved here today actually, I'm Y/n." He smiles, "Well then! I'm Camilo Madrigal, one of the many great Madrigals!" I chuckle, "I'm afraid I've never heard of these 'Madrigals before." He gasps, "You haven't?" He holds me by the waist, "Would you like to know about them, mi amor~?" I slightly blush, "S-sure?" He smiles, "Your wish is my command!" I smile as he lets go of me. He starts to drag me to the house on the hill. It has such a beautiful exterior and when we walked up it seemed that the house opened its doors on its own. I see a girl with curly brown hair, brown hair, with a blue and white dress. She smiles, "Hello! Welcome to Casita!" I wave, "Thank you?" She laughs, "You new here?" I nod and she takes me from Camilo to show me around. I turn around to see Camilo pouting. I yell back at him, "See you later Mi Vida!" I watch him turn a bright red and seemed to change into different people. 

Mirabel shows me everyone's door and what their gift is. She explained she didn't get a gift and how she was cool with it now. I smile and we reach Camilo's door, "This is Camilo's door. He's a shapeshifter, if he's seen you he can change into you. He uses it to help or flirt with girls, has he shown you?" I shake my head, "No, he hasn't. So he's the town flirt?" She nods, "I guess, also, what's your name?" I chuckle, "Y/n, and you?" She smiles, "Mirabel, it's a pleasure to meet you." I smile, "Pleasure is all mine." We walk downstairs and an older lady in a blue dress tells Mirabel to get everyone down for lunch. I go to walk out of Casita when she stops me, "Oh! Hello, I thought you were staying for lunch, would you like to join us?" I smile, "I'd love to but I have food to give to my Abuela." Camilo walks in, "Already done mi amor, no need to worry." He hugs me from behind and kisses my cheek. I smile and blush, "Thank you, Camilo, I really appreciated it ." He whispers, "And I got you permission to have lunch, so tell my Tia Julieta that you can eat with us." I chuckle, "Yes sir, I'll let her know, but go get cleaned up." He nods and walks away. "I can stay, Camilo asked for me I suppose." She smiles, "Ese pequeno alborotador. I'm glad you can stay, we'll put you next to your boyfriend~." I blush, "Julietaaa!" She laughs and goes to the kitchen. 

I was walking through Casita and I feel someone hug my waist, "Mi amor~ I've missed you." I laugh, "What did you do when I wasn't here?" He thinks about it, "I bothered Mirabel into playing games with the village kids and me." I turn around and look at Camilo, "I think you need a hobby mi Vida." He gasps, "Like what?" I think about it, "Well you can shapeshift so maybe room redecorating or you could even do arts and crafts. Room decorating if you want to use your gift, arts and crafts to just relax and be you." He smiles, "Will you do it with me?" I nod, "I'll do it with you pretty boy." He laughs and carries me downstairs for lunch.

He introduces me to everyone. I love his Mama, Pepa, and Papa, Felix. They are two of the sweetest people I've ever met. His brother Antonio showed me some animals and Dolores just was telling me that my Abuela and sister just had lunch. Everyone was so sweet, but his Abuela. She didn't really like me I guess. 

I finished eating and thanked everyone for having me. I walked out of Casita after everyone kissed my cheek, some more than others (Pepa). Camilo laughs, "I'll take you home Y/n." I smile and grab onto his arm, "Thank you, Camilo." He tilts his head like a lost puppy again, "For?" I chuckle and softly kiss the tip of his nose, "Today, you made me feel welcomed and for taking the food to my house." He chuckles, "They think you did it, by the way, so don't be telling them my secrets now." I laugh, "I won't nino bonito." He walks me to my door and we say our goodbyes. 

As I was walking home I realized how dark it had gotten and start to walk a little fast. I also realized how much I cared about Camilo and how I didn't want to leave him. I start to think about his smile, laugh, and mostly those freckles. He had such beautiful freckles that covered his cheeks and nose. I smile at how many beautiful features he had that it seemed no one else noticed. 

I get inside my house and see my sister, Gabriela, sitting on the couch. She had a huge smile on her face, "So, was that your boyfriend that you hung out with today?" I blush, "No! He's a friend, I just met him today!" She tilts her head, "That's not what you said earlier!" I blush more, that little shit. "I was messing around earlier." She shrugs, "Whatever you say!" I see Abuela come out of her room, "Sorry did we wake you?" She shakes her head, "No, but was that Camilo?" I nod, "Y-yeah, I met him today." She nods, "He's a sweet boy, I'm glad you two met." I smile, "I am too."
