Tom was in the library, studying his new dragon, borrellend dragon. He looked through his deck and made a few changes to it. Smiling, he placed his modified deck in his duel disk and stood up. As he turned, he saw one of Team Ra's member, Kai.
Kai: What a pleasure to see you here Kaiba.
Tom: huh, I thought opponent's aren't suppose to spy on each other.
Kai*raised his hands*: don't misunderstand me, I just wanna talk to an old friend.
Tom: This is a waste of time....
He turned and walked away, leaving Kai clenching his fist.
Kai: It's time to bring you down Tom, with my new power....
Tournament....
Host: Welcome to the stadium!!! Students and Teachers!! Looks like it's time for round 2!!! In Block A! Team obelisk's Mika shall go against Team Ra's Underground dog, It's January!!! The Utopic Future from team Slifer against one of obelisk's best!! Underwood!!
Y/N: looks like it's time for us to go then, hope our team 2 can make it.
Host: But this time!! To bring down to one team of each block, once a team member from either Ra, Slifer or Obelisk lose one battle, that team will lose immediately. That's to leave us with 3 of the best teams to face off for the trophy.

Kai: Enough with the chit chatting. Let's start.

Kai: Again with that same move?
Tom's facial expression didn't say anything except for total concentration on this duel.
Kai: Well then it's my turn. Draw. I cast! Swordsoul Emergence! I shall add one "sword soul" monster from my deck to my hand.
Tom scoffed at him as Kai took his card.
Tom: I can already read your moves. Like I said, no matter what deck you use. I can still beat you.
Kai: Grrr. I am going to change that attitude of yours when I am done. I discard one sword soul monster to special summon!! Swordsoul Strategist Longyuan!! It's effect brings me a lvl 4 tuner token. Now, I tune both monsters to synchro summon...the monster that will bring you doom....
Both monsters became mini stars and went into a beam and struck down in the battle field. As the smoke cleared, a heavy armoured swordsman appeared on the field.
Kai: My new ace, Swordsoul sinister sovereign, Qixing Longyuan. If you think I am done, you must worst then I thought Tom. I cast pot of desires, banish 10, draw 2. I then normal summon, swordsoul of Taia. It's effect let's me banish a Swordsoul from my graveyard to create a lvl 4 tuner monster token. GREAT SACRIFICE!
