"Jim?"
Jim turned towards the voice of the person calling out to him. Besides him, Spock's head rested on Jim's shoulder while his right arm snaked around his captain's waist.
"What is it?"
"We were suppose to report for duty approximately 10.5 minutes ago."
"Ok."When Jim didn't react, Spock thought the captain was rather accepting of the fact that they're late until Jim turned to him once more and then abruptly got off from their bed, almost hitting the desk in his haste to rise up.
A trail of bruises and hickeys adorned the captain's back, one paticular hickey however has made its way to the top of Jim's neck. No doubt arousing suspicion from their ever observant crew.
There's a good chance the Bridge crew would congratulate both him and Spock if word got out. But if there's one person he was worried about, it was Uhura. Until then, their tyrst will remain a secret unless one of them had a death wish.
"Captain, I think it is in our good interest if you meet with Dr. McCoy to deal with the bruise that has conveniently ended up on your neck before going to the Bridge."
"Conveniently ended up on my neck? Seriously Spock?"
The image that Spock sent to his mind made him want to take off his clothes again and have his wicked way with the Vulcan. But no, he has duties to fulfill as the captain of a starfleet, so immense fun had to come later.
________________________________After a trip to sickbay and hearing Bones giving Jim a lecture on how potent Vulcan saliva's can be (along with a string of grumbles and curses that came from the doctor when he saw the bruise), Jim is currently standing nearby Chekov's work station as he listens to the Ensign's explanation of the sudden anomaly that had appeared on their screen.
"...All I ken say keptin iz dat there iz a good possibilty the anomaly is able to transport beings."
"Transport beings? How does that work?"
"Well, assume if something goes through the anomaly, it ken transport dem to another place or ..time."
" Time? Great. Y'know what? It's best if our ship steers clear of that freaking thing. Sulu, go on Warp 4 and set a course to Planet Xenia. Based on the initial reports, Xenia is the only planet where it is relatively safe for living beings to travel on."
Sulu carried out the captain's order as Jim made his way to the command chair. Before the man had the chance to pick up his PADD, his comm vibrated. It came from Engineering.
"Scotty to Captain."
"Kirk here, what's the problem Scotty?"
"I think I have bad news. Three living beings just teleported themselves onboard the ship. I ain't sure how they did it, but they're currently in Cargo Bay as we speak."
"Oh come on. Can someone get the security footage of the Cargo Bay?"
"On it, captain." Sulu said.
Not more than 5 minutes later, a footage of the Cargo Bay materialised infront of the crew. The projection was a bit blurry given that it was rare to access the Cargo's camera's directly from the Bridge. Despite the unclear image, the figure of the three living beings was as clear as daylight. And Jim wish it wasn't so.
The three individuals appeared to be human and are all female. But what shocked them the most was that a kid was also with them and all three wore the regulation blue science shirt.
