I knew I was back. Everything inside of me knew what just happened. It took me a moment to get my vision back and another moment to pull out of his arms. My stomach had dropped to my knees and tears were starting to build in the back of my head. I was going to be sick.

"You should've left me there." I gasped out, hitting the ground. I didn't want him to see me weak, but I really didn't feel good. Not because of the interdimensional travel, but because I didn't want to be here. I swore I'd never come back home.

"I'm curious as to what that thing wanted with you." Thor answers honestly and I remember how we left it there alive... Ellis! My head whipped up fast and I stared at him with fear in my eyes.

"We have to go back!" My voice was stronger now and I got back to my feet. "That thing is still alive, we have to go back."

"We're not going anywhere. My finest warriors will be back with it's head in no time." His chest puffed out with pride. Stupid Asgardian pride.

"Take me home." I tell him, annoyed that I'm even back here. Scared they might remember who I am.

"I'm taking you before the King. That thing was after you for a reason and I plan to find out why." Thor walks closer to me and I walk back. I didn't want him near me anymore.

"No, you're going to take me home. I'm not staying here." I was getting pissed. How dare he?

"That's enough." He tried to cut me off like I was a child and I grabbed the closest thing next to me and threw it. He dodged it easily, but the vibrant golden thing hit the wall with a loud smack.

"Don't you dare try to tell me what to do." I shouted at him. He gives me an appalled look before he stands taller and stalks closer to me. Without thinking, I turn around and head straight for the only opening in this place. I didn't even process what I was doing or where I was going. I just kept running to get far away from him.

I didn't even make it twenty feet before I felt one of his arms wrap around my waist and I was lifted into the air, flying towards the castle. My eyes burned from the air whipping through them and I quickly turned my head away, closing my eyes. I could hear him chuckle above me, but I stored that for later when I could kick his ass.

I could hear the groan of the golden gates opening as we flew closer and then through it. When I finally got my feet under me it took me a while to open my eyes. I knew where we were. On the stairs of the Asgardian castle. I felt like throwing up as everyone around us bowed towards Thor and looked at me as if I was the most interesting thing in front of them.

"Welcome to my home." Thor sighed happily as he kept walking. Annoyed, I followed him through the castle, noticing some of the places from my childhood. The thing is, Thor and I were once friends. A long time ago, as children, but he used to chase me down these halls while my father advised his father. Back when life was simple.

"Thanks." I replied sarcastically. I had to focus on him now because he took a turn to the right, then an immediate left and stood there. Ahead of us was a set of tall white double doors. Thor turned to me and smiled.

"This is your room while you stay here. Dinner starts in an hour, so please dress for the occasion." He looked a little out of place for once and I snorted.

"No open dungeons for me to be prisoner in." It wasn't a question. I know what the bottom of this castle looked like and I know I didn't want to go down there. Loki had shown me that horrific place once when I was a kid. I never wanted to go back.

"If that is where you wish to go I can make that happen, but for now, you will enjoy this. I will see you later for dinner." Thor grabs my shoulders and moves me to the left of him and then drops his hands and leaves me to my own ways. I'm grateful for his disappearance because then I can breathe and focus again.
