Nari's POV

I wore my lily necklace and headed downstairs to eat my breakfast. I can't believe it was the first day of school in junior year.

My step-mom prepared a simple kimchi fried rice. My stomach was growling so this is perfect to keep me full for the whole day.

"Nari!" my brother yelled on top of his lungs. "The bus is already here!" he followed. I jumped off my chair, grabbed my phone and backpack.
"Just wait for a second Kai!" I yelled back shoving a spoon full of fried rice in my mouth.

I sat on the back of the school bus and put on both of my AirPods. "Nari," Yeri sat down right next to me, "the zipper of your skirt is open."

I smiled at her, "Right." I zipped up my skirt really fast.

I haven't seen Yeri in a while since sophomore year. I actually thought that she was going to change schools because her dad got a new business abroad.

Her brother was sitting not too far from us. Yeri saw me looking at him.

"Not my brother Nari. He'risky to stare at, or even to talk with." she grimaced at me.
"I-I was just wondering how he's doing." I looked back to Hiyyih.
"He's okay. I guess," she said it so softly, that only me and her could hear it.

"We're about to get off," Yeri said while getting ready to get out.
"Let's meet on the top during lunch Yeri," I whispered, then I hugged her once we got off the bus.

I went straight to my locker. I walked into the hallway where my locker was located.

I can see Yeonjun from a distance. He was standing with a group of guys, including my brother, Kai, and their other friend Beomgyu. I tried to ignore them and focused on my locker.

The principal emailed us the combos yesterday. My locker better not be jammed, because I hate going to the front desk and asking them to un-jam my locker.

I rotated the dial to the right five times, then proceed to open my locker. I jerked the latch but It just does not work. I did it again but I think it's jammed.

My locker was definitely jammed. I was going to turn to go to the office, but I see Yeonjun's face so close to me. Gyu was just right next to me and Yeonjun. He's just probably waiting for him.

Yeonjun was leaning down to level with my face. It's like he was watching me since the beginning of me, trying to open my locker.

Me and Yeri were just talking about him on the bus, that it's risky to talk to him. Too late, because Yeonjun is literally right in front of me talking.

"Having trouble?" he asked softly. My face started to turn red because of how close he is talking to me.
"I can go to the office and ask them to unjam my locker," I said while trying to not make eye contact with him.

He stood up straight and kept a straight face. He walked slowly towards my locker and started turning the dial. "First number?" he asked. "Five." I obediently followed him.
"Second?" he said and looked at me. I forgot to answer because I was just staring at him turning the dial.

He leaned down to meet my face again and repeated what he said "Ms. The second number of the combo?"

He looked pissed. Why does he need to be cocky? He was the one who was helping me in the first place.

Yeonjun had his hair down with soft waves. His tall nose was pretty pointy, and his jawline can definitely cut someone up.

I shake my head to bring my senses back "Ohh, I'm sorry. It's Twenty-Nine." he turned the dial again.
"Last?" he said, "Twenty-Three Sir." I looked at him with a puzzled face.

He lifted the latch and opened the locker. "What will you say?" he declared.
      "Thank you?" I said questioningly.
"Next time, just learn how to turn dials Lily," he said and walked away.

Gyu followed him, but he smiled at me first, before he followed Yeonjun.

I was spaced out. My locker opened, my heart beating fast with heat coming up my face, and the way Yeonjun said my name in English.

Yeonjun will never do those stuff with me. He has a ton of girls trailed with him. He always gets love letters and confessions from popular girls.

I kept reminding myself to ignore what just happened. But my mind just kept saying that I need to thank him for doing this, which was a bad idea.

I can't tell this to Yeri or she will get furious when she hears that I talked to her brother.

I dropped the stuff I don't need for the day in my locker.

I slammed the locker accidentally because of the scene that just happened with Yeri. Almost everyone in the hall turned a look at me.

I just ignored it and walked fast to my class.
