Chapter 12 - Moody Meee

Hisako's POV

"Hisako, did I tell you to finish the assignment before this week?!!" My step-mother, Kinori shouted.

Sometime I just wondering, a lady should have her manners, right? She can't speak freely, she can't speak loudly and mostly she can't shout. And my step-mother is a lady, right? So why she can shout?

"Hisako!!" She shouted again when I still didn't respond. I sighed before I closed my book and went down to meet the devil (oh, surely I'll be choke if she know what I called her)

"Yes, mother?" I asked politely.

"The assignment?!"

"I already finished it and sent to the maid" I answered. That's weird.

"They didn't received anything!! Hisako! Are you trying to lying at me?!!" She rolled her eyes. I blinked a few but then I saw Kiyori, my step-sister hiding with a playful smile plastered on her lip.

Ah...caught the thief...

Even is she really did that, it's not like the mother will believe.

I sighed again.

"I will send to them again this evening then" I said.

I'm sure that time my brain will feel like want to explode. Why not? I need to write the assignment again, I'm glad that I kept an important information, the only left is to write in full, good and absolute sentence.

"Make sure you send it this time! As a punishment, you won't meeting anyone for this month!" She said.

I stared at her face. Seriously? She won't let me meet 'her'??

And I just only can see 'her' 2 times a month. And she didn't let me see 'her' this month??

I look down on my feet.

"As you said, mother" I mumbled and slightly bowed before I walked back to my room.

A tears escaped from my eyes as I locked the door. I stared at the room. It's big, have a lot of things, a bed, a computer, a bathroom and balcony.

But... this is not what I want...

I slide down to the floor as tears never stop felt.

This is not what I want....I don't need all of this...

I can't meet 'her'....I can't meet 'her'...

".....grandma...." I sobbed.

"I'm sorry....I'm sorry" I said it again knowing no one will hear it. Well, no one will ever care.
