As organising my items and putting 2 years of memories into tiny cardboard boxes, I was reflecting on myself and what was going to happen. I just thought about how my life turned into something I really haven't even dared to imagine.

2 years ago, when I first came to South Korea with Abby, it was a dream coming true. It wasn't easy at all. We were just two teenagers, nourished with Kpop, k-dramas and every single piece of Korean culture we found in France. Before our departure, we had tried all the Korean restaurants and Kpop stores in town and were ready to visit the real ones back in the original country. We had to make huge files with a lot of paperwork to be accepted into our Korean School and we had to go to the Embassy of Korea in Paris to defend our visa. We did three years of student jobs in High School and had our parents helping us financially to be able to pay for our fees.

On top of that, we were apart geographically by almost 250 miles so we did all the papers and supported each other from far away with 5-hour phone calls and FaceTime every week to catch up on how we were each progressing. We were still in High School on the side. I said it was tough and I really meant it. But we knew that one day, we would be living together in our dream city and that little hope kept us to carry on.

Finally, in July of our Senior Year, we had the confirmation of our acceptance to our Resident Visa and we finally began our new life. Flights and first place to sleep before having our apartment were booked in less than 6 days and three weeks later, we were gliding over sky and preparing for our life together in this brand new place.

My thoughts caught me off guard, as always. But reminding me of those souvenirs made me emotional because we've grown up so much in two years that it felt like ten years ago. My cases were almost finished by the time my mind did this inner summary so after putting my last pencil case into the last cardboard box, I joined Abby into her room to see how things went for her. She was almost terminated with her belongings so we did
some coffee and just sat to take a break into this crazy moment we were going through.

- Can you realize that our existence just led us into living this instant ?

- Honestly, no. This seems too unreal to be concrete.

- Like, Dove, are you sure this is the best idea for us ?

- Yes, I am sure we are doing the right thing right now !

I was certain and it did happened : we were moving on with 4 of the hottest kpop bands in the charts into an Apartment-share.
