The Loft

1 - SETTLE IN

      We entered the apartment together with Abby around 2pm. The boys had install their clothes and things yesterday so we were alone until tonight. Our first night here.

      The condo was immaculate yet and just as I imagined, it was enormous. It was for 32 persons to live in so it had to contain a lot. Since a space like this doesn't normally exist, the guys had to convert and renovated 3 condos into one. So basically, it was all the 10th floor of the building, just for us. We were told that there were 5 « wings » to make sure we all had our own space but it was just for bedrooms, bathrooms and dressings. The living room and kitchen were common. There were also 2 practice rooms, a singing studio and a gym. It was beyond all that we could have imagined. But it would be our life from now on.

      We found our way to our wing, Wing Boo ( it was our nickname for each other with Abby ) so it would be simple to call us together. Each wing had a letter, except us. It was the first letter of each band's name so A for Ateez, B for BTS, E for Enhypen and S for Straykids.

      We decided with Abby to just put down our boxes in our bedroom and visit all the condo. We went to see each wing to see how the boys organised their wing. They were all clean but of course, it was just the beginning so I guess it would not stay eternally like this. After visiting all the rooms, we agreed to tidy our clothes and things before the arrival of all the guys. We wanted to surprise them with pastries so we went to 'Paris Baguette' to buy some French specialities and to some streets shops to buy Bungeoppang, Korean fish-shaped cakes with sweetened red bean paste inside. We knew they would all crave some salty snacks so we also bought some fried chicken. They would arrive around 5pm so we just finished our installation until then. We did some coffee and decided to enjoy the TV by watching some MV's to put us in a happy mood. We went from Deja Vu to Blessed-Cursed, with some Permission to Dance and Wolfgang in the middle. We were dancing and singing on Fireworks ( I'm The One ) so passionately that we didn't even notice we weren't alone anymore.

            - Wow, you nailed that part !

We both jumped by surprise to see that 7 faces were staring at us being savage with cushions to a well known song in the middle of our living room.

            - Sorry to interrupt by the way, said Jungwon. 

            - Yes, we didn't know you were preparing a whole show for us, commented Jay.  

We both chuckled and turned off the music to go say hello to them. It was not a long time ago we saw each other, especially Jay that I met a few days ago to a Coffee Shop but it was a special day so the atmosphere was really exceptional. We sat on the huge couch to discuss a bit before the others came home. They were all there by 5:20pm so we sat around the table. They were really surprised by all the food we bought but we all were so hungry that we dug in immediately. The place was full of discussions.

            - How your day went for you two ? Did you well install yourselves ?

            - Thanks for asking Joon ! It went great, we visited your wings and well done everyone, it's not a chaos, yet. 

            - Yes, you're right to put « yet », said Felix. 

            - We are not that disordered, claimed Wooyoung. 

            - Are you kidding me, Woo ? In Kingdom, you left the practice room and it was literally a mess, stated Changbin. 

            - Well, WE are not breaking everything we touch, at least, commented Yunho staring at a certain band.
