Within a blink of an eye, he arrives.
With his everyday style. His lose trenchcoat, his long blue tie, and his messy hair. I gaze and admire him standing there for a while. But, why is he here? I don't think I called him. As I begin to speak, he cuts me off.
"Dean, we need to talk."
Oh, what ever happened to hello? I want to tell him and ask him "I love you" and "How was your day?" But he seems to be on a hurry. He's already traveled across the room.
A slight "Okay" escapes my mouth as I sit up on the raggedy motel chair. He lets out a long sigh and sits on the bed.
"Dean... I-I am sorry, but, I am leaving."
He looks up to me with his puppy eyes.
I am in complete shock. He's never said that to me before.
An odd sound lurks and leaves my mouth. "Wha-what?"
He sits up and continues- staring deep into my eyes.
"Yes, Dean. I am leaving. I can no longer help you in any way. I am not here for your needs now. I have been forced to stay away and accomplish my own needs, Dean."
My lower lip is now trembling and tears are pilling up on my lashes. Wow, he is actually serious about this. My head falls in my hands.
"C-Cas. No. You can't do this to me. We've been through so much."
I hear him rise from the bed and walk over to me. I feel a slight cold hand being placed on my back. He begins to speak into my ear.
"Dean, just know. I will never forget you."
I look up into his cold, hurt, blue eyes.
"I am always going to be here..."
As he says that, he places a finger on the left side of my chest. A tear falls from my face as I look down to his hand.
Just as I say the words "I love you" he is gone.
Within the blink of an eye.
