I woke up in the early hours and started to get ready. And guess what? I didn't know what to wear.

That doesn't sound like me, at all. But it was definitely me. Having shallow, first world problems. I held up one outfit after another. I soon decided on a pretty yellow dress and a short whitish jean jacket. Who was this for, you ask? A person I don't know. Well, I probably know them but I don't know who it is. Basically, I'm going on a blind date. I grabbed my silver shoulder bag and tucked some galleons into it.

I slipped down the stairs and was surprised to see James galloping down from the boys dorms.

"Got a date, Saba?" He grinned as if he knew something I didn't.

"Apparently. Bella set me up for a blind date!" I shrugged and climbed out of the portrait hole. James and I set off for the Great Hall, talking about the first practice tomorrow. At the table we sat with Hunter. He glanced at me and asked, "Oh, are you going with someone?"

"Yeah," I didn't feel the need to elaborate. Strangely, Hunter didn't want the details. I glimpsed a hint of fire in his eyes. The expression quickly changed to neutral but his voice sounded weirdly robotic.

"Oh," he looked at James and some non verbal communication went on between them. I'm awful at reading people's expressions, telling crushes or defining feelings. I'm always very blunt; and I don't always take the time to consider consequences or other's feelings.

"You?" I asked, looking him up and down. He had done his hair better than usual, and wore a casual t-shirt and jeans. He still looked amazing. Wait, what?

"Yeah. I guess." The conversation died after that, and we ate in complete silence. James was still grinning like a maniac, Hunter looked bored and slightly sad, and I was confused as to why I suddenly thought my friend looked 'amazing'. Bella came down and to no one's surprise started chatting incessantly about her date. Sahej still hadn't told us her's, only saying mysteriously that we would see. Sahej is probably the most puzzling of the group. She can be very forceful and loud- but also very sweet and quiet. I'm loud so much, no one takes me seriously unless I actually curse someone. But when she becomes loud, everyone listens.

Oksana came up to the table and said, "Oh my gosh. I'm flipping out so bad. Do I look ok?" After reassuring her that she looked great, she sat down and started eating. Even though this was obviously not the Hufflepuff table. "Hah, like you guys were gonna say anything else. 'NO, YOU LOOK AWFUL!'" She mocked.

"You do. You look the worst I've ever seen you." Linde popped up behind her. Oksana rolled her eyes and continued eating until Linde started tickling her. Oksana began screaming like a mad woman (which she is).

Bella and I laughed and Sahej said, "Linde, stop. Don't be mean." Sahej has an evil side, and an angelic side. And she usually sticks up for Oksana against Linde since Linde has a habit of teasing her. What? It's funny! Linde and Oksana have been friends forever anyways. Linde and Oksana are equally violent (you know what, let's just assume everyone here is violent. Or passive-aggressive, as Linde likes to call it.) but the most damage Oksana can do is bruise your shins, while Linde can give you a black eye (with her fist) or kill you (with her fist). Although it did make climbing stairs very painful after Oksana attacked me for telling her to kiss Sławek goodbye.

"I have a date to Hogsmeade!" Bella sang in a horribly off pitch voice.

Bella has an absolutely amazing real voice but ruins everything by singing 'Let it Go' in the worse voice imaginable.

"Yeah, me too." Linde said, picking her nails unconcernedly. "A Slytherin named Alex. Don't you dare start your whole Slytherins are evil rant on me, James Potter." James started protest but was cut off by inquiries from the rest of us.
