There's a story behind why Henrik started saying this.

It was the time when Kol Mikaelson who is Henrik's uncle, visited to see him in England and Kol was in the house sitting on a Chair and Henrik came into the house with water In his eyes and when kol see him crying he asked "What happened jr. Darling"?

No one told me!! Not even a single one of you!! Why you kept it a secret?.....that .... that...."I am a curse!! A Death"!! Henrik said while crying.

Then Kol came near to Henrik and asked him who said this to you? So it's true that I am a Cur.....!! Henrik said.

Look in the mirror. You are a Baby and how someone that much adorable can be a curse? Kol replied.

There was a big smile on Henrik Face after listening these words from kol and then Kol asked Henrik "promise me that you will never cry again"!! since "YOU CAN'T BE A CURSE BECAUSE YOU ARE A MIKAELSON" Kol said it to Henrik.

Anyways Henrik is Destined to be extremely powerful. The powers that Henrik has can either give life to others or it can lead to death if he ever starts using his powers in a bad manner.

Powers and Abilities: Just like his parents, Henrik is extremely powerful, even more powerful than his father and mother, maybe this greatness is in his blood. Henrik has many powers eventhough he's just a 4 year old little witchy boy. Henrik is considered a special one because when he was born he has some specific powers that no other werewolf neither witch ever has.
Some of the special powers Klaus Junior has are:

Spell casting: The Ability to perform paranormal spells that affect the natural world. By being a witch he is gifted by nature.

Shapeshifting: Ability to turn into anything found in nature. Can transform into another person too. He can transform into anything whether it's a human or animal and even birds, he can shift himself into any living creature.

Super-sences: The ability to hear, see, and smell better than that of regular humans. Eventhough Henrik hasn't turned into a Werewolf yet he has super senses.

Telepathy: The Ability to both hear the thoughts and read the mind of another person. He learn this from his aunt Bonnie Bennett.

Telekinesis: The Ability to move objects with mind. It would be a surprise for many people that Lizzie is the one who helped Henrik to be perfect in this Spell.

Mediumship: The Ability to communi-
-cate with deceased people as Henrik is able to connect himself with his grandmother Ester yet the reason why he can channel dead people is still unknown.

Astral projection: The Ability of transporting one's spiritual self from one location to another by supernatural means. The Spell casting books were really helpful for Henrik when he was learning this Astral Projection.

Elemental control: The power to manipulate the four elements nature: earth, water, air & fire as a witch he was born with this supernatural ability to control natural elements.

Sacred blood: The blood of Henrik holds some very special powers and his blood is the ultimate weapon which can be used not only to destroy all evil but also to treat them. He didn't know anything about this power because his family want to kept his this power a secret in order to protect him.
