Chapter 2.

Good news?

When I awoke I saw my mother asleep in a chair near the door, my father outside my room talking to a doctor, and Blake beside my bed holding my hand, tightly.

Once my father and doctor had entered the room, my mom became aware and stood up. She looked so depressed, I can't blame her, anyone in her shoes would be crazy not to. I just felt so bad for her...she didnt deserve to see me like this.

Before I knew it i broke out in tears, my mom sensing my feelings, joined me beside my bed, tears streaming down her small face.

"Mom, I'm so sorry...you shouldn't have to go through this-"

"Andria, don't say anything like that. It isn't your fault, you didn't do this on purpose...things like this happen to-"

"Mom! It is my fault, if I didn't..." My sentence trailed off and the room fell silent.

"You didn't what?...hunny, is there something you aren't telling us?" She gestured towards the doctor who was now interestingly looking from me to my family.

"Oh...it's just...I think it had to do with Ryan..." My father instantly looked up from his strong gaze at his feet and joined in our conversation.

"Andria..." His eyebrows furrowing and his tone deep and serious.

"What does Ryan have to do with this? And this isn't just a 'don't have to answer question' , I need an answer...now." My father stood between my mom and the doctor, not losing his deathly gaze from my small eyes.

'I don't know if I should really tell him, I mean, it's not like it happened on purpose...it just...happened. Me and Alex are the only people that know about it. Telling him would just be worse on my part, and theirs.' I sat there and argued with myself for a good 5 minutes, before my train of thought got disrupted.

"Well...we're waiting..." My mom now looked at my dad, and then back towards me.

"It's a long story..." Before I said a word, this thought wouldn't leave my mind;

'I'm in SO much trouble'
