The young player had logged out of the world's first virtual world after his gunpla had finished repairing in-game after the battle. After eating dinner with his family, he returned to his room and reviewed his battle with Klein against Kibaou on one of his computers. He paused it the moment the Danazine began malfunctioning.

'The Mass-Dive,' the player thought. 'It's powered by an illegal part placed on the gunpla from the outside world. When the Gunpla is scanned during login, the illegal code programmed into the Break Decal is read as well. When activated, the illegal code will exceed a Gunpla's performance values assigned by the game's system. It's still a new program so there may not be that many players who'll be using it yet.

'Problem is that I've seen the code for it myself once before and it's majorly flawed. The power it gives was too much for the gunpla model to handle and it causes glitches in the GBN system. So far nothing can be solved about the programming issue but in terms of gunpla divers might switch models to use in combat until they find a perfect fit. Or...' The player switched to another monitor and made and pulled up a display of his Exia with its statistics shown on the side. 'They could increase the original performance of the model to try stabilizing the power-up.'

He paused on that thought as he resumed the video. He paused it again at the point his Exia stopped using its Trans-Am power and reverted to its original colors. The model was scratched all over and some of the pieces were chipped. 'I took some serious damage even in Trans Am. Maybe I should make some improvements myself.

'But in the game, you only increase your avatars status. And the only one way to improve the model is here IRL.' He then looked up from the screens to look at the gunpla on his shelves. 'But I've only ever built straight assemblies. Where do I even start with customizing?'

Pondering about his gunpla could not last forever as the sleeping hour arrived. In the morning they did not even continue as his drowsiness allowed him to only focus on brushing his teeth, showering, and dressing up. His school uniform was a black long-sleeved shirt with yellow buttons and a matching pair of pants. He walked downstairs yawning as he held the handle of his satchel like a briefcase with the strap folded.

"Morning Kazuto," said a grown woman's voice. He looked to see in the kitchen a woman with black hair like his in a bun and a bright closed smile.

"Morning mom," said the player named Kazuto in the real world. He finished rubbing his eyes as he sat down at the table with a full plate of breakfast.

"How late were you up this time," asked a girl's voice across the table from him? He looked to see a cynical look on a girl about a year younger than him with short black hair. Her uniform was a gray sailor outfit with long sleeves, a yellow bow scarf, and a black with white stripe collar matching her short skirt.

"I made it to bed on time last night," Kazuto scowled. "Not everyone in middle school wakes up full of positive energy Sugu."

"Oh please," Sugu replied and took a bite of her breakfast and swallowed. "I bet you were up all night playing your new game."

"How was the debut by the way," their mother said.

"Tons of fun," Kazuto answered with a sudden smile. "So far hardly anything's changed since the beta."

"Great," his mother said. "Make any friends?"

"Actually yes," Kazuto answered chewing his food. "This new player came up and found out I was a beta tester and asked for some pointers. I taught him through the tutorial and on our way back to base we fought off an ambush of hunters."

"That..." Sugu began stunned. "That sounds cool."

"Now you know why I'm so drowsy sis," Kazuto smirked. She pouted, as her cheeks blushed puffed with food in her mouth.
