I pushed him away a little and he grabbed me again, he pushed back a strand of hair from my face,

"Elizabeth, what happened?"

"Um I just.. I just saw my best friend and Logan together, I don't know what it was but I think he was leaning in to kiss her."

"I'm so sorry, he doesn't have the right to do that, I'm gonna talk to him."

"It's okay."

"No, it's not okay, you're beautiful and you shouldn't have someone treat you like that... Well speaking of Logan."

I quickly stepped back from Douglas.

Logan grabbed my hand, "We weren't doing anything."

"Really? You weren't doing ANYTHING? Just go away."

Logan reached for my waist and pulled me in.

"Don't."

He stepped back looking a little hurt, "at least let me explain!"

Douglas stepped in, "look dude I don't-

"This isn't any of your business" Logan tightened his jaw.

Douglas put his hands up and back away but still said "look, if she isn't ready to talk, don't talk, simple as that."

Logan stared at me, " we'll when you're ready, and not with Douglas, just call me. Me and Alex aren't together, we are, I love you Elizabeth and if you just gave me the time-

"I'm leaving, I'm going back to ucla and you and Alex can stay here. I'm done."

"But you haven't even heard me out!"

"I think I saw enough."

I walked past him nudging his shoulder.

"Wait."

But I didn't, I kept walking forward, and I didn't look back no matter how much it hurt.

I was just about to leave when someone knocked on my door,

"Leaving so early?"

I smiled a bit, Douglas had that effect on me.

"Yeah, I guess."

"Look Logan and Alex explained what happened to me, please just read this letter before you go, Logan really is a great guy and Alex seems like a really amazing friend, they didn't do any wrong to you."

I grabbed the letter,

"Thanks."

"See you later?"

"Mhm, bye Elizabeth"

I closed the door and plopped on my bed.

This letter could possible change my whole situation on leaving or not.

I slowly opened it.

I read it, the whole thing, and I felt so stupid and naive.

Logan was planning our whole anniversary weekend with Alex, he wasn't leaning in to kiss her, he was trying to grab something behind her, and I didn't even give him the time to speak.

Would he forgive me? Is he still mad? Is Alex still my friend? Everything came rushing into my head and I let out a big sob.

You could call me a drama queen but I was In love with Logan and I ruined it all.

I guess there's bumpy roads in relationships. And it's always going to happen. But if you really love something you'll be able to fix it.

I needed to make things up with Logan.

And I guess he knew because right then he knocked on my door.

"Still leaving?"

"Depends, hate me?"

"Pretty much, yeah."

"Oh.."

"Kidding! I love you Elizabeth, it was all a misunderstanding, okay?"

"Okay" I smiled and grabbed his hand.

He lifted me up off my feet and twirled me around and kissed me. He pushed me against the wall and I wrapped my legs around him.

"I'm sorry." I said.

"It's okay" and he kissed me.
