Chapter 1 - Together Again

Claude was walking around the Trancy manor, during a cold stormy night, suddenly he heard a knock on the front door. "Odd", Claude said to himself, as he was walking towards the door. When he opened it, he saw a man dressed in black, with a trunk in his hand. His hat and the collar of his coat covered most of his face.

"A storm has reached", the man said, as Alois appeared. Giggling slightly, Alois replied.

"Look at you, you're all filthy!" He smiled, and got on his tiptoes, so he was in eye level with the mysterious stranger. "Although, you do smell rather nice. What's your name?" Alois said, as he sniffed his coat slightly. "This man will be staying with us, alright Claude?" Alois ordered.

Claude simply stared at the man. Having seen him before, Claude remembers the man's scent. It certainly wasn't a human's, no it was a demon's scent. The man simply smiled, and followed Alois to the dining room. Claude closed the door, and thought to himself for a second. That devilish smile, he remembers it so clearly. He shook his head slightly, and went into the kitchen to cook the stranger a meal.

"Claude's cooking is absolutely delicious!" Alois exclaimed.

"Yes, I'm sure it tastes quite nice" The man replied, as Claude set the plate of food in front of him. The stranger didn't need to eat human food, he was a demon indeed as Claude predicated. "Although...please observe the spec of sauce on the plate... one would choose to dab it with cloth." The man said.

"Nevermind the food, Claude! I'll bring him to his room!" Alois said, with anger in his voice.

"Yes, your highness." Claude replied coldly, when he went to clean the dish. What a spoiled brat, he thought to himself. I need to be alone with the mysterious fellow demon. I want...need to find out who he is.

"Right this way!" Alois said cheerfully, as he led Sebastian in one of the guest rooms.

"Thank you." The man replied. Alois kissed his cheek, then went to bed. The man sighed slightly, putting his trunk under the bed. As soon as he took off his hat and coat, Claude walked in.

"I came to give you night- Michaelis?..." Claude was shocked that, right there in front of him was none other than Sebastian Michaelis himself. Sebastian smiled.

"Hi Faustus, did you miss me?" He asked. Claude smiled, and hugged Sebastian tightly.

"I missed you greatly...Why did you leave me for so long?" Claude asked, hiding faint pain.

"Ciel was a handful, I have his soul now. I am all yours. Just like before," Sebastian replied.

Claude smiled, and looked deep into Sebastian's red eyes. He leaned in, and kissed Sebastian slowly and passionately. Not wanting to miss a moment.

"Mm" Sebastian replied, adding tongue and slight force into the kiss. His lover moaned, guiding Sebastian to the bed. He grinned, taking off his glasses, and setting them on the end table. "You did miss me, Claude" He chuckled. The fellow demon smirked at his reply, taking off Sebastian's clothing, leaving small love bites across his body. As Claude was kissing back, they could hear a faint yell.

"Claude, I cannot sleep!" Alois screamed.

"Dammit..." Claude cursed under his breath, grabbing his glasses, and fixing his tangled hair.

"Don't take too long," Sebastian teased, hiding underneath the warm blankets. Claude smirked, as he went to help Alois sleep.

Claude was finally able to return into Sebastian's room, just to find him lying underneath the covers in a sleepy yet affectionate manner. He tried to stay alert, as he closed the door behind himself. Sebastian walked over to him already in his night clothes, and began to rub his hands on Claude's chest slowly.

"There's my little spider" He whispered, lust in his voice. Claude returned a small smile, moving a piece of hair out of the smaller demon's face.

They moved to the bed, not allowing themselves to break eye contact.
Claude removed his own glasses and gloves, setting them down on the end table. He looks down for a moment breaking the tension, letting go of a heavy sigh before removing his bow and tailcoat for the night, 

"Something troubling you?" Sebastian asks, looking at him with concern.

"No, nothing at all, my dear," Claude looked at him, "I get frustrated easily here is all"

"I can see why, come, let us rest together. I missed you" Sebastian stands up to hug Claude from behind as he unbuttoned his vest in front of the small vanity mirror, "Do you remember how life used to be when we lived together?"

"How could I ever forget?" Claude turns around to kiss Sebastian's cheek, "You mustn't worry about us, I haven't changed or forgotten"

"You know I will always worry about you, Faustus"

"And I, with you" Claude smirks before giving him a goodnight kiss, and helps him into bed. He goes to walk out of the room,

"Wait, sleep with me tonight" Sebastian pleads, "I need you with me, at least tonight."

"I really ought to sleep in my own room"

"Don't be so distant, why are you being this way?"

"I'm not being anything, Michaelis" Claude goes to put his glasses back on, Sebastian puts his hand on his,

"Darling, you can rest tonight. I'm here for you now. You can take the night off"

Claude sighs, giving in, "Just tonight"  

"Just tonight", Sebastian repeats, looking into his golden orbs, "I love you"

"I love you too" Claude returns, setting his glasses back down and unbuttons his shirt to begin changing into night clothes,

Claude blows out the candles before crawling into bed with Sebastian. They both share small yawns, Sebastian rests into Claude's arms slowly falling asleep. Claude stares into the ceiling, wondering how his life will continue with Sebastian's return.
