You were on your way to your aunt and uncle's house. It was New Year's Day and your family was having dinner together for the first time in ages.
The walk lasted around 10 minutes before you finally got there. When you rang the door bell it almost immediately opened with the smiling face of your little sister and your little cousin who was clinging on to your sisters leg.
"Y/n," your cousin said with a look of excitement spread across her face waiting for you to pick her up,"you finally came!"
"Of course I did!",You replied while picking her up and spinning her around in the air.
You both giggled and headed straight to the dining room with your sister.
You've always gotten along with kids 8 and under, any older often just chose to be a pain in the ass.
The moment you stepped into the dining room you were greeted with a lot of hugs from everyone except your mom,sister, and your aunt. Your aunt and mom have been cooking all day. Not to mention you just saw your mom and sister 5 hours beforehand so they didn't really need to hug you.
"So Y/n how have you been?", your older cousin asked in curiosity.
"I've been great lately and I haven't had to take as much medicine for my PTSD as before!" ( You'll know later)

The room went silent. Your aunt had a look that showed she was guilty. You uncle just stared at you with his eyes bulging out of his head.
Your mother was listening to the conversation and facepalmed herself mentally because your aunt asked that question even though she already told you about you not being able to talk to a guy because of your social anxiety. You were always close to your mom. You told her everything especially after your father died.
"I'm sorry.",Your aunt replied with a deep raspy tone that almost sounded like a whisper.
"It's okay don't worry about it."
You went back to playing blocks with your little cousin and your sister while dinner was being made.
"Y/n-Chan," your little cousin said softly" you don't need a boyfriend to be awesome y'know."
You heard your mom say dinner is really.
"Thanks.", you said picking up your cousin and bringing her to the dinning table.
After everyone started eating it was silent for 10 minutes straight minus the clacking of utensils hitting the plate. Untill your mom finally spoke up while looking at you.
"Sweetie we've noticed you've been lonely lately so don't even try to deny it."

"No you haven't, anyways we decided to sign you up for a dating app!"
"Huh, wait you did what now!"

Your mom pulled out her phone,opened the app and handed it to you.

After you finished eating,putting the dishes away,taking out the trash, and finally showered, you went downstairs and said,"Goodnight,I'm going to sleep now." You then ran upstairs to one of the guest rooms.
You opened the door, laid on your bed, and decided to open the dating app.
