Chapter 18- The Kiss

~Y/n P.o.V~

"Wanna go?" Tubbo asked grabbing the basket.
"I would love to!" I said as we both walked towards the door.
We stepped on to the porch, closing the door behind me.
He took my hand and we started walking down the foot path in a very comfortable silence. 
It was still late afternoon when we started walking.
By the time we got to the beach side walk the sun was setting. We passed a lot of shops and cafes to the spot.
We walked up the hill underneath a tree facing the ocean.

He laid down the blanket and put the basket on the edge. It was absolutely perfect. "Thanks Tubs." I said laying my head on his shoulder while hugging my knees.
I looked out onto the ocean... And watched the boats as they floated. I looked at our hands and realised we were still holding hands.
I smiled at that.
I look up at Tubbo who was also smiling at that.
At this point it was pretty obvious we liked each other.

"Hey Tub's?" I ask breaking the silence.
"Yes N/n?" he said smiling at me.
"This is absolutely perfect." I said 
He laughed. 
"Your absolutely perfect." Tubbo said which made me blush.
"Thanks" I said looking away.

We started talking for a while... Well more like 3 hours and we still hadn't said the line. It was more flirting from time to time.
I needed to say something... But I didn't know how... Ugh why is this so difficult?

"Hey Y/n? I think we should get going..." Tubbo said which made me frown.
"I don't want to go..." I said whining. Then I realised how dark it was. 
"Oh maybe that would be the best..." I said giggling.
I stared up at the stars in aw. It was the most beautiful thing (Other than Tubbo of course) I had seen.
We stood up he took my hand before hugging me. It was more like an embrace but still. It was nice. I felt safe in his arms.
It was only silent for a few moments before we pulled away.
His arms still wrapped around my waist. My arms around his neck. 

I stared into his eyes drowning out any other sound. The waves, the chatter from distant cafes, the wind rustling through the trees, the smell of sea water and soil, the amount of darkness.
It was nothing, just Tubbo and I.
I smiled at the sight of Tubbo's beautiful face. 
We were at the point where our foreheads were touching. I got butterflies of the feeling of Tubbo's breath on my face. He cupped my face gently. The butterflies only grew at his gentle touch.
At that moment there was nothing I wanted more than to feel his lips on mine.
"May I?" Tubbo asked.
I hummed in response.

His warm lips brushed mine. Soon enough I grew the courage to break the space. Our lips connected. It was like fireworks exploded in my head.
A carful kiss became a comfortable one in a mater of seconds.
Our lips moved with every passing moment.
It felt like Heaven had just opened its doors.
But eventually like a lot of good things, it came to an end. We had to breath, but I wasn't going to waste a perfectly good moment.
When we pulled away I had no intention of leaving.
I keep our faces as close as we could. 
"Tubbo? What are we?" I ask breathless. I really wanting him to say more than friends.
"Well we could be friends... But I assume we both want it to be more..." He said trying to steady his breath. 
"I would love that." I said smiling like an idiot.
"Hey can we prank everyone, by saying that we didn't confess?" He asks
"That is a great idea!" I say, our faces still as close as possible.
"But I want to stay like this for a little longer," he says putting his lips against mine for a little longer. 

We packed up everything and headed home. We discussed how we would prank them. 
As we got nearer to home the conversation died down, for the act.
I knock on the door. As soon as I did Lee took me inside

"Okay first how was it?" She asks getting impatient. "It was really nice, the setting the food and just being there with Tubbo!" I said looking at Tubbo, signalling for him to leave. He nodded and left upstairs.
"Second! Did you confess?" I put on my best acting. "Look, I was going to but... it... wasn't the right time..." I said looking at my hands.

"You have to be kidding me!" She said throwing her arms up.
"I'll do it sometime... I hope" I said going small.
"Y/n if you don't do it now I will and I mean it, I will tell him myself!" She said in anger.
"TUBBO!" Lee yelled. He came downstairs and stood there looking at me and the Lee. 
I winked at him, 'go along with it'  I mouthed
"Lee you okay?" He asks.
"No actually. Y/n has something to say." Lee said picking me up from the couch.
I walk over to him and took my hands out of my pockets and draped them around Tubbo's neck.
I look up at him and smile.

I lean in and we kiss, I was smiling in the kiss.
He quickly melted into the kiss.
It became a passionate kiss, very quickly.
His lips in sync with mine, it was perfect, even though it was the second one, I forgot all about Lee, and our prank. 
Nothing could get better. I turn around to see Lee was staring at us with a confused but happy look on her face.

"Oh, you were pranking me..." She said still confused.
I smiled at her.
"Want to help us prank everyone else?" I ask.
"Sure!" She said running over and hugging Tubbo and I.
"I need some sleep I am tried!" I say.
"Agreed." Tubbo said yawning.

Tubbo and I walked upstairs hand in hand, smiling like fools.
It couldn't get any better or could it?"

That was definitely a satisfying chapter to write. Ahh this book might be coming to an end... But I won't set it in stone. 

I am very proud of that chapter...aha
