The four of them walked through an archway and up a flight of stairs that were currently stationary but what any of them didn't seem to notice was part of the back railway closed into the wall.

'Oh no. It's gonna move when they're still on it.' Rebekah pointed out.

'That's unlucky. Nothing worse than the staircase moving with you on it so you have to go all the way around or wait for it to move back.' Mary added.

'I'm telling you, it's spooky she knows more about you than you do.' Ron said to Harry, clearly forgetting the girl they were talking about was right behind them.

'Who doesn't.' Harry shrugged.

'That's true, everyone seems to know a lot more about what happened to him and about him then he does and it's his life. But they don't tell him these things and just expect him to know.' Lily ranted a little.

'Don't worry mum I find out more eventually.' Harry assured. A faint smile appeared on the Evans girl's face from being called mum by her future son.

The staircase suddenly moved away from the wall and they all stumbled and gripped onto part of the railing. 'Ahh!'

'The staircases are changing! Damn it!' Harry pointed out.

Harry and Ron were looking all around over the railing at the ground below them as the staircase moved around and eventually attached to a platform which was attached to another wall. It connected with a thud and a door was stood in front of them.

'Let's go this way.' Harry said and he began to run up the stairs with the others following him.

'That's probably the only way you can go at the minute.' Tonks said.

'True but we could've gone down the staircase to the left and around to the bottom and then gone up some other stairs.' Nova suggested.

'Probably would've been safer.' Ron muttered.

'Before the staircase moves again.' Ron said.

They pushed open the large door and it creaked as it did. There was creepy statues of strange figures and one was a man hunched Ives with his fingers near his head in a Very strange position. The stone was cracked and chipped. Almost everything in the room was covered in thick layers of dust and cobwebs and the room was very dark apart from the small amount of light from the door and a dim light from behind them probably from a window.

'This seems way too creepy to be a normal corridor.' Mary shuddered.

'That's because it's the third floor corridor.' Lily pointed out.
