In all the darkness there's suppose to be a way out of it no? Like hope or light, even tho there might be no such thing as an escape.
The night was bright, with a full moon shining on the scenery. In the depts of a the forest there was a star brighter then all the others. It was round, had a tint of royal blue to it's glow.. it seemed like some sort of orb.
Oh what's this? There seemed to be feathers around it. Quite strange isn't it?
There was a figure.. It had long hair and it seemed to have white wings. It seemed to be dazed, as if it was not present? The atmosphere was odd, no sound could be spotted, only the breathing and shuffling of leaves were heard. Quickly enough the sound of metal clashing with each other comes by, before soon there are now two figures, with the type of orb brighter then ever. The previous ominous figure was now seen with glowing eyes, who looked exactly like the transparent sphere but they seemed deadlier. Red, the surroundings were red, it seemed like the hidden creatures was no where to be seen.. or was it? The head, the yellow eyes, where the blood came from.. it was right in the figure's hand.
More enjoyably for the watchers, that wasn't the last of whatever creatures were after the source of the powerful protection. But they all left quicker then they came, one by one they were erased with a single blade, no breathes wasted. After a bit of time the dark silhouette spoke, with a cold and irritated tone.
"Disgusting." It would've made the entertained watchers tremble, if that would've been the first encounter with this figure.Giggles could be heard echoing through the branches breaking, meaning they were now walking closer and closer to the core. But surprisingly, they stopped right at the end of the tree line. The silhouette glanced at the shadows around, rolling its eyes slightly. "What? Now are you staying put." It would clean of some left over blood from the blade with a handkerchief with no response in the mean time. "Ha, pathetic." The figure would approach the core once more turning its back from the eyes which we're watching it's every move. It was moving in a snake like format, for some odd way it was mesmerizing to the eyes who would smile mischievously, even tho there was no hope to even see. Since the trees covered the bright moon and they were at a reasonable distance from the other light source. Back to the now still figure, they would be supposedly caressing the orb, it em muting stronger 'magic' waves.
At that moment, the dark shadow would come out of its hiding, it was a tall man with remarkable features like white hair, pale skin and most importantly red eyes. Like any usual fairytale antagonist, well at least the inhuman with power. The two figures would give each other a cold glance but one was more deceiving and the other more cruel. "Oh my, have you not missed me after all, Eira." Once those words spilled out like cold water from the man with an unfriendly tone, the other would feel their eyebrows frown. "Kheops." The female would mumble loud enough for the other to hear. A few moments after, the orb started expanding relentlessly catching both off guard. Before they realized it had engulfed the whole forest, everything had turned white as if wanting to representing the lack of escape with a void.
"I'm so glad we could all see each other on this fine night."
An unknown voice was heard which made the two others look around everywhere but with no luck since they were alone, in some way at least.
"No luck in looking for me I see? Well of course since you only used your eyes."
Before the two could try to respond, everything went dark and the feeling of touch quickly disappeared.
They were being quite literally engulfed once again.
The last and only voice they heard said something, they both knew but it was too late.
