Hi. How do i keep going? Ok, hello, my name is Amaly and i'm an immigrant teenager from Dominican Republic. I came to New York when i was 12 and i really thought life here was easy until i had to live in conditions i never knew i would experience, but that's another story.
When i was in DR my mom and dad used to force me to go to a school where they could teach me how to speak english before landing to New York, but I actually never had mind for that and i came here without knowing a single shit.
This book is going to be based on my personal experiences in New York and about how difficult it was for me to get used to the country and their cultures.
