"Human" The little girl had said.
Human? The picture reflected on it's thoughts. What's a human? The next following days, the picture listened to the little girl's anagrams. Hun, Ma, Uh, Man, on and on. The picture felt more invested to what the girl had said. The last day, the picture knew that she was going to change the word. Anthropoid, the girl had said. What? Thought the picture above the coffee table. Anthropoid? A synonym?
Again, the anagrams. Portion, Hard, Potion, Thorn, Tornado, and more. The girl kept saying words that the picture had invested in. Family, Love, Emotions, tons of other words. The picture had wondered why she had been saying only words it connected too? Words it loved, words it wanted to be, words it wanted to feel, words that touched it, words that made sense, anagrams, synonyms, haikus, and more.
It wondered, why change it up with you have already been too mindless before? To get a liking, to get a feeling? I have no feelings. I cannot love, I cannot move, can't talk, can't see, can't hear, can't think, you are a simple human, I am nothing more then a picture. You have friends, I have a frame, I'm hung up on a wall, while you have freedom of going or doing whatever. I am lonely, you have family. You have more things than I do. Why the sudden change?
Once again, the words it loved. Words it cherished. Words. The picture had been getting tired of all of these words again, and didn't like how the girl kept playing out these words. It just stopped listening to what the girl had to say. It ignored the words, it hated her squeaky little voice, everything. One day, she waltz straight up to the picture, and said a word that once again, changed how it felt.
