Christmas miracle

Getting ready

It was 2 weeks before Christmas. Gold and rainbow have been working there buts off to get enough money for Christmas. While funneh and Draco play video games. I was in my room while the front door of our house opened. It was gold, she looked tried and stressed. I went to go see her. " hey gold! " I said without questioning. Gold replayed with " not in the mood. " . Wonder what's up with her? She dashed to her room and closed the door, I just stood there, I heard raging from funneh and Draco. I started walking to my room when I heard gold in her room. I stoped and listened in "I'm trying to get the money ! It'll take a few more weeks just please be patient.. " .

I wonder what that was about 
I walked to my room and closed the door, I wonder what gold was talking about. I took out my art things and started drawing.             2 hours later

I was finishing drawing when I heard the door. " that must be rainbow! " I said. I got up and walked over there, rainbow was at the store buying dinner for us. " hey lunar! " she said. " help me unload the groceries " she asked me. I nodded and helped her put some of the food away. The food that wasn't put away was for dinner. We were done  and rainbow went to go change from her long day. I went as sat down on the Sofia . Funneh was yelling at Draco because he got more points. " YOU CHEATED " funneh said angry . " NO I DIDNT " Draco said back. It kept going on in till gold came out of her room. " can you guys stop yelling for once?! " she said. Then she sat down next to me.  I tried to act like I knew noting but it was hard.. After rainbow came out with her comfy pjs , she asked me if I can cook dinner tonight. I nodded and got up and walked to the kitchen witch was right beside the living room. I started making some pasta with France frys. After 2 hours of cooking the food was done. I called everyone to eat and rushing down Draco almost ran over the Nintendo! Everyone sat down and started digging in. Except for gold, we was just sitting there. " why aren't you eating? " I asked curiously. She didn't reposed tho. Maybe it was about the thing? After dinner funneh washed the dishes and Draco cleaned the table ( for once ). Rainbow , gold and I sat on the Sofia watching tv. Something was off and I knew it, but I couldn't lay a finger on it .

After everything was ready , funneh and Draco sat down with us. Gold announced something. " hey guys I have to tell you something. " she said quite sadly . " yes ? " we all said. ( expect gold ) I was kinda confused. So was the others . " so " she continued. " we might lose our home ". She said " WHAT?! " said every one " its 2 weeks before Christmas we can't lose our house ?! " said rainbow. I looked like I saw a ghost. We might lose our home?!?! This can't be happening.. I looked at funneh and rainbow. Then Draco, they all looked like they saw a ghost . Gold continued but I never really listened . I just had this one thought

" we might lose our home before Christmas.. The happiest holiday. "

I ran to my room trying not to cry. Was this real? I tried not to think about it but all of golds words kept going thought my head I tried to lay down and go to sleep. But it was hard, i over hared rainbow crying, funneh talking to herself and Draco. Well I hared nothing . We just got this house a week ago! We lived in a very small apartment witch only had 2 bedrooms , one washroom , and a very small kitchen , dinning room and living room. Our schools were 2 hours away and we couldn't afford the bus. So we did online. I was thinking about what will happen. Draco walked in. He didn't really look sad at all he looked , I can't explain it. He came over and sat next to me. I got up ne acted like I wasn't sad . But It was hard. " hey I know it's bad but look at the bright side, " he said calmly. I tried to act like I under stood but it was hard.. He hugged me and I  did back. " at least we still have family " .  He said . He was right, he left my room and closed the door, he's words also ran through my head. Then I went to bed.

Next day

It was the next morning and I got up. I still remembered what happened last night tho, still went trough my head . I got up and got ready, I walked out of my room and realized. Were is every one? I looked around, no one , then I saw a note at the kitchen table I picked it up

Dear lunar,                                                    Sunday 21st 2022
   Funneh , rainbow , Draco and I went out to do " shopping "
We left you some **not brunt** pancakes. We will for 3 hours
In till then I want you to find a new Cheap house in case you
Know, we get kicked out. It has to be under 6,000 dollars and
At least 2 bathrooms and 3 bed rooms or 2. Thank you

I put Down the note and walked over to the fringe and got my breakfast. After I sat down on the floor, opened my laptop and stretched for houses gold said.
