First Day

The sound of the alarm going off on your phone wakes you from your deep slumber as you roll over and shut it off then stumble out of bed and into the bathroom. It's the first day of your junior year of college and you were only a year away from achieving everything you've ever dreamed of. You grew up in Busan near the coast of Korea and always dreamed of moving to Seoul and pursuing your dream of working in the music industry alongside your best friend Jimin.

Yes that Jimin, big time superstar member of BTS Jimin. You two have know each other since the day you guys were born. In fact you both have the same birthday and we're born at the exact same time at the same hospital. Your mothers were friends growing up and it was just fitting that you two would be too. You both dreamed of making it big in the music industry,  Jimin's practically achieved that already. He'd been dancing since you guys were young and he even auditioned for different entertainment companies throughout high school until he was offered a trainee position with BigHit, which he gladly took which left you alone for the rest of high school but you were happy he had made it.

You eventually made the big move to the beautiful city of Seoul the summer after Jimin moved up there to become a trainee. You saved up enough money to rent a small apartment and worked at a bookstore nearby to help pay bills that came in until that fall when you started College at Seoul National University. Fast forward three years and you both are now in your junior year of college and ready to take on the world.

You eventually come out of the bathroom and start getting changed into your outfit for the day when your phone starts buzzing. You pick it up and see Jimin's picture pop up. You slide the phone up and suddenly your best friends face pops up on the screen.

"Y/n, what's up?!" He shouts over the phone which makes you cringe. "Someone's chipper this morning?" You say back. "Well duh it's the first day of our junior year how could I not be excited! Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this am." He says teasing you a bit. You just glare at him "what do you want that you had to FaceTime me this early in the morning before I've had my coffee?" You say waiting for his response.

"Well I was wondering if maybe I could get a ride with you to school today, Suga promised me he'd give me one but he just bailed on me said he had to do something in the studio today and nobody else is available either." He asks with his pouty face and pleading eyes. "Yeah you're place is on the way to school so it's not a problem I'll be by in about 45 minutes." You say back smiling. "Yay! Thanks bestie your the best! I love you!!!" He says all excited which makes you laugh at how childish he can be. "Ok I gotta get dressed and make sure Minji has enough food for the day before I leave." You say. "Okay see ya soon! Bye!" He says waving before hanging up.

You shake your head and finish getting ready. You decided to go for a causal look with High waisted jeans, crop top bike long sleeve shirt and white shoes. You fox up your makeup, grab your things for classes, your car keys, check on minji who's asleep in her bed on the floor, make sure she has food and then head out the door of your apartment to the parking garage.

You finally arrive at Jimin's apartment building and honk the horn. Few moments later you see your bestie running out of the building with a girl right on his heels screaming at him. He quickly gets in the car and yells "Go, Go, Go!" You do as he says and peel away from the building before the girl can get to the car. Jimin looks back and sighs of relief. "God I hate living in that building, that girl literally has tried her level best to get my autograph or picture. I practically have to wear a disguise if I want to make it out the door alive. I almost didn't make it this morning, but Tae had to go and stop me as soon as I opened the front door of the apartment and wouldn't you know she was leaving hers at the same time." He went on and on and on about this girl all the while you just listened and giggled a bit on the inside of how funny Jimin looks when he gets flustered.

You two eventually make it to campus and park the car. You talk about what companies you're applying for and waiting on an news about positions opening up in their production department. Soon you two part ways as your classes are in a different building than Jimin's.

Classes go by pretty quick and soon it's almost time for lunch. You text Jimin that you were heading to the car to go grab lunch at a cafe down the street before your last class at 3. He answers back with a thumbs up and that he was on his way too. You got to the car first and then he showed up a few minutes after. You both climb into the car and head off to the cafe.

"So how were your first couple of classes?" He asked you as you guys waited for your food. "Not bad I think I'm really gonna love them. What about you? How's the business side of music going?" "Hmmmm not bad either, I saw this cute girl in one of my classes this morning." "Weren't you just complaining this morning about a girl in your apartment building who doesn't leave you alone?" You say laughing a bit. "That's completely different." He retorts back. You just roll your eyes.

Your guys food soon arrives and you guys share small talk in between bites before you head back to campus for your last classes of the day. Once your finished with classes you both head back home. "Actually could you drop me off at the company?" Jimin asks you as you almost near his apartment building. "Sure, why though?" "I forgot I promised Suga I would stop by after classes to do some vocals on a track he's doing." "Oh okay. So when do I get to meet your other band mates? I've been in this city for nearly three years now and you have yet to introduce me to them." You say as you drive over to the company. "Soon i promise. They ask lots of questions about you though." He says looking out the window. "Really, like what?" You ask as you turn down the street for BigHit. "What you look like, how tall you are, your eye color, hair color, favorite things, stuff like that." "Haha not how we became friends or our child hood?" You say laughing. "Haha no I practically told them that already."

You two share a few more laughs before finally pulling up to the company. "Thanks again y/n, I'll see you tomorrow!" He says getting out of the car. "You're welcome Jimin, bye!" You say before he shuts the door and head into the building. You pull away and head back home.

After making it up to your apartment you drop all your stuff off at the dining room table and head off to your bedroom to change your clothes. Once you've changed you head back out and put Minji's leash on her and head out of the apartment for an afternoon walk.
