The next day is the same like clock work your alarm goes off, roll out of bed, get ready for school, eat breakfast, make sure minji has all she needs and head out the door. Luckily Jimin didn't need a ride this morning so you had enough time to stop at the local coffee shop near campus to grab a coffee and little snack for later before heading on to campus. Morning classes go as usual, but your last class before lunch goes longer than usual because the teacher had a special guest come in to speak to the class. One of the CEOs of the top five entertainment companies came to give his advice and input on how to make it big in music and what it takes to be a successful producer.
After his talk he opens the floor for questions. You raise your hand and ask "What is the hardest thing you found while being in the entertainment industry?" "That's an excellent question. To put it plainly just making money is the hardest thing, cause you can have an absolutely amazing artist who makes songs left and right and puts out albums like they're going out of style, but if they don't sell like you think they will then that hurts the bottom line of what it took to make those albums and you could go bankrupt." Mr. Park answers. He answers a few more questions before our professor dismisses us. You hurry and get up to catch Mr. Park before he leaves.
"Excuse me Mr. Park?!" You say running after him. He turns around "Yes." "Sorry, I was just wondering if there were any internships available at your company this coming summer?" "Uhmmm, I would have to double check, but why you so interested now? Don't you have a few more years to finish school before thinking about things like that?" He says puzzled. "Actually I have one more year and I would like to get as much experience as I can before I get a job. I've applied to other companies and they all have turned me down for internship positions because they're all full. I didn't want to apply to your company yet because I know someone that works there and I didn't think it would be appropriate if I did an internship there." You say to him. He looks at you confused and then asks "Who do you know that works at BigHit?" "Ummm Jimin of BTS. We grew up together." "Ahhhhh I see, well what is if exactly that you would like to do?" "I'm kind of into the production part of music, the whole recording and finalizing stuff before it's put on to an album." "Ahhh ok, ummm let me give you my number and you can come by the company any time to discuss a possible internship position for next summer and the last year you are here at University." He says handing you a card with his number on it. "Wow thank you so much." "Of course and your name is?" "Oh sorry it's Lee y/n." "Nice to meet you y/n. Hope to hear from you soon, but I must be going the boys have a press conference later this afternoon and I need to get things in order for it." "Oh yes of course I will call you sometime to set up an appointment." You say before he leaves.
You do a little happy dance in the middle of the hall as everyone stares at you. You skip out to your car and find Jimin there waiting. "There you are what the hell took you so long?!" He says getting up from the hood of your car. "The best thing just happened! Your CEO at the company came to my last class and talked to us and then afterwards I asked if there was any internships at the company for next summer." You went on to tell him all that happened and how it's possible you could potentially be working at the same company together. "Wow seriously! That would be awesome if you did!" "I know, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up if it doesn't happen."
You two climb into the car and drive to a near by cafe again and eat a light lunch before going back to campus for your final classes of the day. Afterwards you head back to your car and wait for Jimin. He finally arrives and you head for the company. "So what's this press conference you have this afternoon about?" You ask turning down the street the company is on. "Oh uh it's about our upcoming comeback and album release." He says. "Ahhh ok, so not to rush you or anything but when can I meet the other members? Joon keeps texting me asking when I'm coming over to hang with you guys." You state as you slowly pull up to the building entrance. Jimin sighs and looks at you "I've checked the schedule and we don't have any free dates until midterms week before holiday break. What with our upcoming comeback and album release we're all going to be busy for the next several weeks. Can you wait until then to meet them?" He asks you with pleading eyes and a pouty face.
You sigh and nod your head "yeah I guess so, you guys can't help it and I understand how crazy your life has been since debuting. I can wait a little longer, I know meeting them will be well worth the wait." "I'm glad you understand, anyway I got to go before I'm late. I'll see you tomorrow at school." He gives you a hug before getting out and heading into the building. You watch him go before pulling away and driving on home.
Next day
Luckily today is Friday the last day of the week before the weekend. You get ready for the day, make a light breakfast and make sure Minji has everything she needs before heading out the door. You make it downstairs and are about to head out of your building to your car when someone calls after you. "Y/n wait!" You turn around and see Namjoon running up to you. "Joon what are you doing here?" You say. "Sorry, I probably should've told you I was coming by instead of surprising you like this. I wanted to know if you had any plans this weekend?" He asks scratching his neck. "Ummm no not really, I planned to just do homework and spend time with Minji why?" You ask. "Well ummm I was planning to visit this new art exhibit tomorrow and just wanted to know if maybe you'd like to go with me?" You stare at him for a minute and think before answering. "I thought you were busy the next few weeks with your up coming comeback and album release?" "Oh well yeah we are, but I still have down time to do things. Besides it's gonna be in the early morning when I go before anybody else gets there." He says. "Okay sure I'd love too. I better get going though I promised Jimin I'd meet him before class this morning." "Oh yeah sure. Ummm I'll come by and pick you up say around 7:30 tomorrow morning?" "Sure I'll be ready by then. Bye Joon." You say before walking out of the building and to your car.
