I wake up and get everyone up. I fix them breakfast and then we all talk as we eat. "Okay, so the surprise? What are we doing today?" I ask. "We thought about going camping. In the woods. For today and tomorrow and come back on the day after tomorrow." Zayn says. "Camping sounds awesome!" I say. We all agree, so we get our bags and everything we need. Then we get ready to go. I'm wearing some jean shorts, a tank top, and the suspenders Louis gave me. "You look beautiful." Louis tells me. "Thanks, and you look handsome." I say. He laughs. He kisses me. Then when we're all ready we walk to the woods. We climb hills and move past trees, deeper into the woods. We finally stop. "We should camp here." Laura says. At first all I see is trees and bumps and I wonder why she'd want to camp here. Then I look ahead of me and see a wide open field. The sun shines down on it. It's probably the only place in these woods without trees.
"Amazing." I say. We have 4 tents and 8 sleeping bags. We put up our tents and sit down. "Harry and I in one tent. Laura and Zayn in another tent. Liam and Niall in a tent, and then Louis and Aria in the other tent." Mya says. We all nod. "Camping is gonna be awesome." Liam says. "CAN WE PLAY TAG?" Laura asks. Mya, Laura, and I loved to play tag. Mya loves to play because she just loves to play games with friends. Laura and I love that too, but Laura and I pretty much never lose. We agree to play tag. "Okay, 'Not it' on the count of three." Laura says. "One," Mya says. "Two," Harry says. "Three," Niall says. "Not it!" Everyone but Mya screams. "Mya's it." Laura laughs. "Why didn't you say 'Not it'?" Harry laughs. "I love being it. Plus screaming is so yesterday." Mya says, and busts out laughing.
"Okay, no going out of this clearing." Laura says. "That's right, because if you get lost. You're just gonna get lost." Zayn laughs. We all laugh and Laura leans on Zayn and he kisses her head. "Okay, so why don't we add a twist?" Mya suggests. "What twist?" Louis asks. "When you get tagged help the original tagger tag the other people. The game ends when you get everyone out or the taggers can't get the last person or people out and they give up." Mya says. "Guess that'd be okay." Liam smiles. "Watch out for that rock in the middle." Laura says. "Scatter!" Mya yells. And we all run out into the clearing trying to be as far away from Mya as possible. Everyone separates except Laura and I. "We should try to help the boys sometimes. Make Mya want to chase you, not them. I don't know how fast they are, but we're really fast. Have fun. When she stops counting make her want to chase us. If she does, let her get a little bit closer to us and then run." Laura says. I smile. I love playing games with my best friends.
Mya turns around counts like she always does. "OKAY, GO!" She yells. And me and Laura knew the game was on. "Mya, Mya! OVER HERE!" Laura screams. "MYA, COME GET US!" I yell. The boys stare at us like we're crazy. I'm sure they think we want to get caught. Mya stares at us but starts running towards the boys. "HEY, MYA! OVER HERE, MYA!" Laura yells. Mya stops and turns. She runs towards us, faster than expected. Mya gets a little closer and Laura says, "Now." Laura and I run in different directions and Mya turns left to chase Laura. Mya's game plan is always to start chasing someone and change on someone really quickly so they'll get caught. Laura is way ahead of Mya, but Mya starts getting closer. I stop running next to Liam. "Don't get caught." I tell him. "I won't." He smiles. "Okay, but Mya's really good. She'll get you." I laugh. He smiles and then we start running as Laura and Mya start getting closer.
As Liam and I pass the rest of the boys they start running too. I separate from them and go around the rock instead of around the clearing. Mya gets closer to Laura. "HEY, MYA! YOU SHOULD GET ONE OF THE BOYS. LAURA'S FAST!" I shout, sitting on the rock. Mya stops a second to consider it. The boys don't even see her stopped, they just keep running towards her while Laura's running away from her. Liam and Louis and Zayn finally realize it and slow down while Niall and Harry run straight towards her and get tagged. With the twist it's three against five now. Harry, Niall, and Mya run for different people. I get off the rock and start running around the clearing with Mya chasing me. "You won't get away that easily, Bell!" Mya shouts. "Watch me!" I yell. I laugh. Mya starts getting faster. At first I start to think she's gonna get me. But then I know exactly what to do to get away.
I run towards the rock. Mya stops for a second to see where I'm going then starts running again. I try to run faster. I jump on the rock, do a flip off the front, and my feet slide in some mud making me farther away from Mya. Mya stops running completely and so do some of the others. I keep running and finally get away from a now shocked Mya. I see that all the boys of One Direction and Mya are now it. Six against two. Laura and I are the only people still in the game. Niall, Zayn, and Harry run after Laura. Then Mya, Louis and Liam run after me. We both run away. "GO LAURA!" I scream. "GO ARI!" Laura screams. Louis, Liam, and Mya are far behind me and don't seem to be catching up. They're tired. I go for the rock and do a flip again. Louis, Liam, and Mya have stopped to breathe. I look around and see that Laura is running toward me while her chasers are stopping to breathe too.
Our chasers start to talk to each other. "Okay," Mya yells. "You two win!" Liam shouts. Laura and I high-five each other. We all sit down at our tents. Laura and I are the only ones not breathing hard. We all drink water. "The flips? You've done them before?" Liam asks curiously. "Nope." I say. "Then how'd you do them?" Louis smiles at me. "She's awesome." Laura says. "I figured I could either make the flip or I could fall in the mud. I wanted to see if I could do it. I did." I smile. "But what if you had gotten hurt?" Louis says. "Well, I didn't, did I?" I point out. He hugs me. "Just don't do stunts like that without supervision." He laughs. I laugh. "Carrot?" He asks. He pulls out a carrot and I take it. "I love you." I say, leaning on him. "He puts his arm around me while he eats his carrot. "I love you too." He says. "And you both love carrots." Laura laughs. Louis and I nod.
Our long game of tag and traveling here took a long time. It's already late. Laura and I make a fire with sticks. "How'd you do that?" Mya asks. "Learned it at camp." Laura says. We cook some food over the fire. Zayn and Harry go get 4 logs from the woods. Our tents are set up at the edge of the clearing. The fire is outside of our tents with the logs around it. Louis and I on one log, Zayn and Laura on another, Harry and Mya on another one, then Liam and Niall on the other one. The fire is warm. We eat and then we just sit there talking. I hold Louis's hand. We look at the stars. They shine brightly in the sky. I look at Louis and look around at my friends. I realize how lucky I am to have great friends and a great boyfriend. Soon we all go lay down. We put out the fire. Louis and I put our pillows down and get our blankets.
"I had fun today. Even though I lost." Louis laughs. "I had fun too." I say. He turns over and I so do I. We're facing each other. He smiles at me. Then we takes my hand. "You know, I love you, right?" He asks. "Yeah, I do. And you know, I love you, right?" I ask. "Yeah." He says. "So what do you think about Zayn and Laura, and Harry and Mya?" Louis asks. "They'll last forever." I say. "Yeah." He says. "I think they think that about us." I say. He smiles at me again. I smile back. In my mind I start thinking, We'll be together forever. He loves me, and I love him. I'm sure we'll be together forever. Still holding my hand, he closes his eyes. Even with his eyes closed he's cute. "Good-night, love." He says. I smile and then I close my eyes. "Good-night, Louis." I say.
