Alexandra's Costume above☝️

"Sam!" Jessica called from inside the bedroom

She comes around a corner  wearing a sexy-nurse costume and adjusting her hat with one hand. On her hip is Alexandra in her witch costume.

"Get a move on, would you? Alexandra wants to go trick or treating before we head over to meet our friends!"

Sam pokes his head around the corner wearing jeans and three shirts and not a costume.

"Do I have to?" He asks

"Yes! It's Alexandra's second Halloween, It'll be fun" she says smiling 

Sam comes into the room and takes Alexandra from Jessica. Jess looks at him before putting her hands on her hips.

"And where's your costume?"

Sam laughs and fixes Alexandra's Halloween hat causing her to giggle

"You know how I feel about Halloween"

Jessica rolls her eyes and pulls him out the door. She didn't understand how he hated Halloween and she knew if it wasn't for her Alexandra wouldn't celebrate it either.

"Time for bed Princess" Sam said as he put Alexandra into her bed. 

"Night Daddy, I love you" 

Sam smiled "I love you too" 

He tucked her in and gave her a kiss on her forehead before walking over and shutting off the light. He looked at Alexandra and smiled before leaving the room and shutting the door. Sam entered his and Jessica's room. She looked at him as soon as he entered and smiled 

"I know you don't like Halloween but Alexandra loves it" 

"I know but there are so many bad things in the world. I want to shield her from them" Sam said 

Jess grabbed his arm and pulled him into bed. She brushed a piece of hair out of his face. 

"You can only do that for so long. Eventually she's going to have to learn the world is not a friendly place" 

Sam turned his head to look at Jess and smiled at her. 

"What would I do without you?" He asked. 

"Crash and burn" she replied before giving him a kiss.

Sam and Jess were laying in bed asleep back to back. Jess suddenly shifts position and sound outside the room, like a window opening. Sam being a light sleeper immediately opened his eyes.

Sam quickly get out of bed and quietly makes his way towards the sound looking around the apartment. He sees a window is open and rises his suspicion because he closed it earlier. Then he hears it, Footsteps. A shape of a man walks past the strings of beads at the far end of the hall. Sam moves to another part of the apartment and waits as The man enters the room.

 Sam lunges forward and grabs the Man at the shoulder. The Man knocks Sam's arm away and aims a strike at Sam, who ducks. The Man grabs Sam's arm, swings him around, and shoves him back. Sam kicks and is blocked, then pushed back into another room. If the Man hadn't seen Sam's face before, he sees it now.  Sam also gets his first glimpse of the man. The man elbows Sam in the face and Sam kicks at his head. The man ducks and swings but Sam blocks the attack. The man knocks Sam down and pins him to the floor, one hand at Sam's neck and the other holding Sam's wrist.
