Job Hunting

Two weeks has passed ever since Sunoo lost his job and the Riki incident. Sunoo's life was going smoothly with Byeol on his side while Jungwon visits them frequently and having phone calls with Jake, not until his allowance was depleting.

It is true that Mr. Choi had given him a big amount of money when he let Sunoo go, but this was not enough for both Sunoo and Byeol. Byeol was a needy child, he sometimes demands for anything that comes in his mind whether it is something small or something big, but the boy always knows when it is to stop asking.

Sunoo was broke. He only had a few more money left for their food, and other things, but he knew this would not last them till a month or two, so here he is now panicking and stressed. He has been looking for a job ever since the day after he helped Riki go to the hospital, but unfortunately there was still no luck. He was in between stressed in thinking about what to feed Byeol and where to find money, to the point that he hasn't had any proper sleep for how many days.

Jungwon had offered him to borrow his money, but Sunoo didn't liked the idea. His best friend has already helped him a lot by moral support, helping him watch over Byeol and everything. Jungwon was always there for him even when Byeol wasn't still with Sunoo. They both knew each other when they were in middle school, resulting to have a very close relationship with each other.

Jungwon worries alot about his best friend, since he has changed so much ever since back then. He witnessed every journey that Sunoo had, Sunoo was much more livelier and energetic back then, heck he was even more chaotic when they were in highschool, but all of these traits changed when Sunoo lost everything. Jungwon wanted to help him but he knew the man was already broken and beyond repair, he regretted those days that he can't be there for the other, so that is why he needed to be there for him now at even the slightest possible times. Jungwon vowed that to himself since Sunoo was always there for him through thick and thin and he wanted to do the same.

"Hey, Why don't you talk with Mr. Choi?" Jungwon suggested, fixing the sleeping child's position on his back while walking beside Sunoo.

"Oh It's alright, they're probably busy right now, since well... you know, his lover just proposed to him, and I don't wanna ruin their moment right now." Sunoo said, eyes on the ground smiling. His brother figure had already found happiness, but when will he find his? although he didnt think about it too much since he had Byeol. Byeol was what mattered to him the most, the child was his light, his hope and his everything, he had to protect him no matter what.

"Wait really? how did you know?"

"I saw it in Mr.Choi's social media account. you didn't saw it?"

"I didn't since I don't have any free time for social media. I got loads of Projects to do." Jungwon whined, making Sunoo laugh a little amused by his best friend.

"Well sucks to be you, I guess. Though I'm happy for the both of them, they're so cute."

"Like who wouldn't? both of them were so perfect to each other. Don't you see his lovers eyes when looking at Mr. Choi? Dude's whipped. Jungwon said making both of them laugh, but not loud enough to wake Byeol.

"Oh by the way how bout' Jake hyung? maybe he knows someone who's hiring. His dad is a business man afterall, he must've known alot of job applications."

"Wait you're right. I'll try calling him later, Thanks wonnie." Jungwon smiled at his best friend. atleast he was able to help a little, he wanted to help and support the older more, and so that's what he's always trying to do.

Night time has come, Jungwon had gone home already since he had to do all of his assignments that were due tomorrow, Sunoo suggested to help, but Jungwon refused kindly. He knew his best friend needed more time for himself and time to relax, cause he needed it badly. Sunoo was persistent, but Jungwon insisted more for him to rest, leaving the older and Byeol alone in their apartment. Sunoo sighed he wanted to repay the latter for supporting him in everything. He may find Byeol as his hope and life, but without Jungwon it would've been impossible for him to stay sane and working. Sunoo always cherished those who helped him cause he knew it wasn't that easy to fully support someone through thick and thin.
