Chapter 2: Quirk Assessment Test

When you said that, you immediately thought of Bakugou, despite your best efforts to avoid thinking of him

Aizawa: "Alright! First up: 50 meter / 164 feet dash"

Bakugou and you have been staring at each other for a while now... there's a strange tension between you two that you both sense. You stretch your legs and arms because they'll come in handy for your strategy: You'll start by running as fast as you can, and in the meantime, you'll lift your shirt and shoot a chain from your stomach, which you'll wrap around a tree near the finish line. Then, once the chain has been wrapped around you, you will retreat it back into yourself, causing you to fly through the air and cross the finish line.

Aizawa: "Satou-kun, Sero-kun and Togata-chan!"

Your feet are on the starting block as you stand at the start line and lift your shirt with your left hand. Bakugou's eyes are burning holes in your soul, but that isn't your concern... or is it? No, it isn't—whatever...

Robot: "On your mark, get set... GO!"

Your feet propel you forward from the starting block, while your stomach releases the chain. It finally wraps around about halfway through the track. You fly through the air as the chain is retracting into your body.

Robot: "3.86 seconds"

But you're still flying towards the tree... you didn't think of that... You point the sole of your foot towards the tree and land on it. You disconnect the chains from your body and carry them with you to be eaten. Bakugou continued to stare at you with a grin on his face. "Why the fuck is he smirking at me?!?" you wonder, but your thoughts are cut short as Sero approaches.

Sero: "Togata-chan, uh what's your quirk?"

You smile: "Chains! Why?"

Sero: "Wow... I have a similar quirk but just with tape, you had a genius idea!"

You feel flustered, you haven't really gotten compliments for a long time: "Oh thanks"

Sero smiles: "No problem"

You and Sero walk next to each other in comfortable silence.

Aizawa: "Bakugou-kun, Midoriya-kun and Hagakure-chan"

The three of them walk to the starting blocks. Now you were in the position to stare holes into Bakugou.

Robot: "On your marks, get set... GO"

Bakugou creates explosions from his hands, making him also fly through the air.

When he reached the finish line the robot said: "4.13 seconds"

You acknowledge that he is quite impressive and has a lot of potential. But you're still perplexed as to why he's so magnetic...

Time skip: After the physical exams

You're all waiting for the results in front of Aizawa. Bakugou and you are standing next to each other by coincidence.

Aizawa: "Here are the results"

Aizawa presses a button making a hologram appear.
