Darkness. It was all you could see when you opened your eyes. And god it was quiet. So quiet it was deafening. The panic quickly set in. Felling the sheet under your back you had a feeling you were a long way from home.
Sitting up quickly, your hands found there way to you face. Feeling the fabric that was secured around your eyes. Pulling it off, you couldn't tell if it was a sleep mask or a blindfold.
'It's still too dark' you though to yourself. Looking around the room as your eyes adjusted, you confirmed you weren't home.
Taking a deep breath, you moved the blanket that was draped over you gently, and began to get up. Feeling a sudden weight that you hadn't know was there, you froze.
Fearing the worse you didn't want to see who was next to you. Looking around the room again to see if you could grasp a lick of familiarity. This wasn't Tony's room.
A breath of relief left you. But now you need to know who this was. Taking a deep breath, you look over to the arm again.
Who ever it was, was tan. Their hands were dirty, seeming to be stained from years of working outside. They had scars that littered their arm and hand. And their skin was covered in freckles.
Building more confidence, your eyes tracked up their are a little more. Ogling the muscle you now notice, you had the urge to reach out and poke it.
Deciding against it, you kept you hands to yourself. Following the arm up further you noticed they had their head turned the opposite direction. Looking over the figure once more you came to another conclusion, this was a man. And he was built. (i literally suck a descriptions leave me alone)
Moving the blanket down more, gave you a better view of his back. He has several large scars that ran down the center and sides of his back. Moving your hand to run a finger along one of them, he moved slightly.
Pulling your hand back, you went back to looking around the room. Feeling his arm tighten around you out of no where, you froze again.
Looking back at him, all he did was shift on to his other side. Feeling the anxiety rise in your stomach, you rationed in your head if you even really want to know who he was.
Telling yourself you needed to know, you sucked in a breath of air and turned towards him. Moving your hand closer to him, you needed to move his hair out of his face, you paused. Something was off. Moving back a little, you glanced around. Nothing was out of place, and nothing new was added to the room, so what could it be? Looking back to his face you quickly found out what was wrong.
He was looking at you.
