•Ninoy Aquino International Airport“...please proceed on gate five.”
“Manang, nae angyeong-eun eodie issseubnikka?” [Where are my glasses?]
The plane we were on had landed and I didn't want to be talked about because of my puffy eyes. Namumugto ang mga mata ko, you see, namumula rin ng bahagya ang mukha ko.
My nanny gave me what I was asking for but she kept her meaningful look at me. “A' wae...?” [Why are you looking?]
“Ayos ka na ba talaga?” Nag-aalala ang boses at mukha niya.
I put on my glasses first to cover my puffy eyes before I turned to my nanny again. “Nan gwaenchanh-eulgeoya, geogjeonghajima. Naneun dongjeongbadgo sipji anhda.” [I'll be fine, don't worry. I don't want to be pitied.] “I don't need any pity.”
“Chin-sun—”
“Ulineun pillipin-e issseubnida. Jeoleul wiheom-e ppatteuliji masibsio.” [We are in the Philippines, don't put me in harm's way.] I passed her and the securities sent by my dad followed me.
Daig ko pa ang celebrity kung pagtinginan ako. Oh well, hindi na bago, I am physically fit with its facet. And before in South Korea, I have met and been with many actual august and admired celebrities, such as Park Sin-hye, Song Hye-ko, Gong Woo, Nam Joo-hyun, and so on.
Oh, I almost forgot. Of course, my brother's close friend, Lee Dong-woo.
And they are also the reason why my standard has risen even higher, and for me, the people around me should look at me even higher! Just like it should be.
I came from a well-known family, for being so famous and influential, my life was in danger because of that. If it weren't for this sudden misfortune, my life would have been much better. But still...
No one can surpass what I have or what I am—according to me, obviously.
Anyways, I won't deny that I love the attention I get. Matagal-tagal ko na ring hindi nararanasan 'to. Thanks for the surprising blast of my lovely family, sa public airport nila kami pina-flight. I still don't understand why that is, but let's just shrug it off. I still can't get over my downess, yes, but this happening actually makes me a little happier.
“Nae gil-eul ttala geu amkaedeul-eul jegeohasibsio. Naneun geudeul-ui deoleoun pibuleul manjigo sipji anhseubnida.” [Get rid of those btches along my way, I don't want to touch their dirty skin.]
“Ria, 'nak.”
“Ne.” [Yes, Miss.] One of my security nodded and did as I ordered. He intended to tear down whoever was blocking my path, which I a little bit wish I hadn't ordered them to do because it was becoming too much of an attention grabber. Tsk. Uh, whatever though.
“Wae?” [What now?] I turned slightly to manang Rosa and rolled my eyes when I saw her face again. I hate the pity on her face. And I hate myself because people who know my color always feel sorry for me!
Ugh. Geez. Calm yourself down, Ria... hindi maganda sa skin and health ang parating naiinis at nagagalit. Nakaka-oily!
“Aray!” I screamed out of nowhere because of the sudden collision of my forehead behind a security in front of me. Fudge! Seriously, ang sakit! “Ya!!” [Hey!]
