Third Person POV Taehyung, age 10

Taehyung slept peacefully as a light breeze flew through his open window. It was dead at night. The stars were shining bright, the crickets chirping away and the small hum of the occasional car was driving by, filling the dark motionless night.

Birds flew through the air singing songs to one another, while frogs hopped around happily trying to find food. Taehyung tossed in his sleep.

It wasn't like he was having a bad dream, more like he just couldn't stay comfortable. He sat up and sighed to himself as he rubbed his eyes.

Taehyung slowly opened his eyes after a bit and looked around. He did this almost every night - waking up and looking around to make sure nothing came through his window. As he looked around, something sparkled in the corner of his eye. He quickly looked over in the direction of whatever it was.

Taehyung sighed as he got out of bed and walked over to the sparkling object. The object lay on his desk, and he tilted his head as he looked down at it.

"What? I don't remember there being scrap metal in my room?"

He quietly asked himself, not wanting to wake his parents. Their walls were thin, so Taehyung's parents could easily hear him and yell at him for being up.

Taehyung moved his hand toward the scrap and picked it up. He looked at it intently for a second before glancing beside where it had just laid. There were a few other things in that spot, a piece of string, a few pebbles, bright pink flowers and a very pretty blue feather.

Taehyung tilted his head knowing that a bird had come and dropped these off, the feather giving it away. He smiled to himself and picked up the little feather.

"Soft..," he spoke softly to himself.

After a while of staring at the feather he heard a little chirp. There was a little blue bird hopping along the window sill. Taehyung slowly made his way over to the bird, afraid to scare him off.

"Hi sweetie," Taehyung spoke to the bird, which caused it to stop and look at him.

"Did you leave these presents for me?" He asked the bird as he gathered  the little trinkets that were left on his desk.

The little blue bird sat there for a second just staring at him. Eventually, he moved towards Taehyung and looked at the little objects in his hand. The bird then did something Taehyung was not expecting. He jumped into his hand and wobbled around for a bit before plopping himself down.

He smiled at the bird in amusement all the while the bird just looked up at him. The bird chirped a tiny, tired chirp as Taehyung continued to watch. The bird ended up falling asleep quickly in Taehyung's hand. Taehyung continued to watch the little bird for an hour or so before dozing off into a sleep that, for once, lasted until morning.

. . .

Taehyung awoke from his oddly comfortable sleep to see that the birdy was gone. This continued to happen for years before it stopped randomly at one point. After the connection with the bird stopped he felt lonely and could hardly sleep.

Eventually he grew up, he became an adult and was currently going to college to study music. He had always liked it since he was young so of course he would take a class in it. He wanted to become a singer once he graduated which meant getting try outs at different companies so that they would produce him.
