Meet the Crystals
Emerald's P.O.V
All my life.
All my life I had known my best friends. At least in the areas of my life that I remember. That's the part that I can't understand about myself, I don't know who I am.
No memory of my parents, or where I come from.
Nothing.
And that's kind of fucked up if you asked me.
My name is Emerald. I'm a hundred and fifteen years old and I am the leader of the group known as The Crystals.
And right now, I'm blowing my fucking head off from reading the, what? Sixteenth billion parchments in a row? Yeah, that sounds about right. Why was I reading so many parchments, you ask? Well, I'm just reading the request of gods/goddesses and/or reading anything else they wanna say. It's pretty annoying if you ask me, reading the useless shit-request from some god that has nothing better to do than send a parchment to someone saying something like: "I wish for you to send me every pizza you have all around the world". (Yeah, I get at least two hundred of those a day).
I know most of this is a bunch of shit but I have to read it just in case I find a parchment that's an actual emergency because that's basically what my group is about. We help the gods with anything that needs them.
That was the ORIGINAL plan: To help them in any need of an Emergency. But my team ended up turning into a pizza delivery club.
Rubbing my aching head, I shoved another parchment away. What time is it? I looked outside to see the sun setting halfway in the west. Maybe 3 or 4-ish? I don't know. Titania doesn't allow humans to have/bring technology here so that the pollution rate won't be as bad as it is on Earth. So I can't have a so-called "Clock" (I learned what it was when one of my human buddies tried to tell me what technology on Earth is like. I fell asleep during the conversation.)
I sighed and I leaned back a bit and closed my eyes. Right as I was going to pick up another parchment, there was a knock on the door.
"Come in?" I replied.
The door opened and I saw my best friend, Diamond, walking into the room.
"Hey Em, are you still alive?"
I yawned, "Barely, I'm so tired.."
He snorted, "Yeah? I bet cause you've been here reading that shit since this morning. I thought I'd better get in here before you die"
I chuckled. I picked up another parchment and unrolled it to read it. Almost immediately a hand slams down on top of the parchment and crumbles it. I look up at Diamond who was smirking in a very dorky way.
"No, no more for today"
"Dude, this is gonna be the last one"
"Yeah right, that's what you said yesterday and you stayed up till one this morning"
(A.N Just so you guys know, Titania has the same schedule as Earth does, only instead of being 24 hours is 26 hours so noon and midnight is 13:00 pm/am)
I rolled my eyes and smirked. "Aren't I supposed to be the boss of YOU and not the other way around?"
"Yes, but it seems like I have to mother you around"
I rolled my eyes and stood up, leaving the crumpled parchment where it was. I looked at Diamond and continued to smirk "Alright, have it your way, MOMMY".
