"That's it for today's lecture. Have a nice weekend and don't forget to submit your assignment before the end of the month."

You let your body stretch and a long yawn escaped your mouth, fatigue consumed your body, and you could not wait to go back home to have a hot, nice shower to calm your muscles. Finally, it was the end of the day, you just finished the last lecture for this week and your body could not get more tense.

To say you are dead exhausted would be an understatement.

"If anyone has questions, I will be in my office." Professor Ackerman announced one last time before gathering his belongings to leave the lecture hall.

Professor Ackerman was one of the moodiest professors in your department, he has this gloomy aura around him that made him seem unapproachable and kind of scary. He took his work seriously and made sure that his students were learning something.

You had to be honest though, you adored him despite him throwing tons of assignment at your class, he was one of the few professors who cared deeply for his students.

Another yawn left your mouth before you stood up to gather your notes and place them in your bag.

"Hey y/n! Wait for me."

You turned around to the source of the sound to find your friend Hinata running your way, struggling a bit because of the crowd.

"Hina! I missed you, girl." You engulfed her into a tight hug before releasing her with a big smile on your face.

Hinata has been your friend since the first day of university, you got along instantly. It is already your second year of university and it felt like you have known her since forever, it was all thanks to her extroverted nature, you, on the other hand, are an introvert who would just wait for someone kind enough to adopt you as their friend. And that was Hina.

"How come I did not see you when I entered this lecture, huh?" she jokingly nudged your arm. "I was dying to gossip about Professor Ackerman's choice of outfit." She giggled while covering her mouth and you could not help but let a laugh escape your lips.

"Stop making fun of the poor guy's fashion sense. He is just a sophisticated man." You defended the male while stifling a laugh.

Honestly, you could not deny how old his fashion sense was but, it suited him perfectly that is why you did not mind seeing his everyday choice of wardrobe.

"Oh my god, y/n! Quit simping for the man, he is like twice your age." Hina said while pointing an accusing finger your way.

"Can you blame me though? He is an eye candy." you stated and started to daydream about how attractive the older man is.

Hina facepalmed.

"Hey, I haven't seen Riku all day, did she skip classes again?" Hina asked, worry painted all over her face. You guys have already made your way out of the building and a strong wave of chilly air hit your face, making you shudder.

It was already mid-November, and you were pretty much anticipating the winter.

Riku is your third friend, you and Hina have gotten to know her in your first year of university. She was a very bold girl but also the sweetest when it came to her friends. The three of you have been glued to the hip since then.

You could not describe Riku as someone who was careless about their studies, but she was not a straight A student either. She struggled a lot with her studies but you and Hina always helped her get through the lectures.
