Anyways.

It's a perfect afternoon. I am relaxing in my living room due to the restraints of quarantine. As I am peacefully going through TikTok and checking my Instagram, I have realized, I have not checked the mail.

I swiftly (not TOO swift, I do have a cold) mosey to my moms pair of slippers by the front door. I slip them onto my floor floppers, I MEAN FEET, and head out for my journey to the mailbox.

As I am walking this ten second walk, I am on my toes. Ecstatic to see if my Danger Days makeup set has arrived after moons of waiting. I finally make it to my destination. I open the mailbox with hope and inside is a sales ad, an envelope, my Shein order, and below all the other mail, is a box from HipDot.

I practically yank everything out of the mailbox. I slam it shut and sprint back to the house. I barge through the front door with a great force. I scream to my brother "IT'S HERE!!" He does not care. But that does not matter because I care. I care deeply.

I throw the rest of the mail on the counter for my mom to see later. I run to the kitchen and grab the glorious pair of scissors.

I got the scissors and open the Shein package first to build suspense and excitement for the more important package. I ordered phone cases and a pair of socks. Upon opening my Shein package, I realize, I GOT THE WRONG SIZE PHONE CASE. That's okay. The socks fit wonderfully.

Now, it is time for the package I have long awaited since July of 2021. I tear open the box and there it is. Wrapped delicately in bubble wrap. I carefully pick it up with a look of love in my eyes. It's beautiful.

As I'm examining the details of the exterior, I have noticed that the inside of the box sounds like an unfinished Lego set. Anxiety grows in my veins, worried that my makeup products are ruined by the harshness of USPS. I carefully open the box. There were the products. Not a single thing in place.

I did not care that they were out of place, I was happy that I had the products in my hands. I quickly put everything in it's place and stared in awe.

Fin.

Okay now I'm going to be serious alsjaksjsk.

Okay so. I was very excited for this set, if you can not tell. When I opened the box, I noticed some scuffs and scratches on the inside. It wasn't perfect but it's nothing to cry about.
