Another morning , but at least I'm home. I put on the song "I write sins not tragedies by panic at the disco."

I put on a floral cardigan dark blue skinny jeans a grey beanie and some black lace up boots and head out the door. I sat in my car and took in a deep breath. I felt like someone was staring at me again, and in a panicked state I stepped on the gas. I decided to stop by Starbucks and when I walked in I saw Jake drinking coffee with Mary, I was so confused did they know each other? What did they have to talk about? Were they talking about me? I shuffled over and tried to hear what they were saying.

She seems traumatized I want you to keep an eye on her.

Are you sure? I don't know if this is safe.

Of course! You're a new student and she hasn't seen you in years, it's perfect.

Ok I will...... Kiri? is that you?

Oh crap I'm caught! what do I do?

mary turned around shock written all over her face, I walk over to their table trying to look calm but freaking out on the inside. Mary is awkwardly silent as I stand in front of them. Jake's face seems relaxed even though I know he knew that I had heard that they were talking about me.

So what are you doing here sweetheart? Mary was weirdly cheery, I'm getting coffee, before school, what are YOU doing here with Jake?

She tensed up and couldn't respond, but Jake caught her and said he saw her here and told her about seeing you, Kiri.

I nodded slowly but I felt awkward so I quickly said goodbye ordered coffee and walked to my car. I was so confused, what did mary mean by saying that I hadn't seen him in years?

and how did Jake know what my mom looked like enough to say hello and talk about me?

Suddenly someone grabbed my arm and pushed up against my car. I flinched and I started breathing harder as memories of my abduction came flooding back to me. I couldn't make myself open my eyes because I was too afraid.

The hands holding me against the car loosened and I opened my eyes shocked that my captor had suddenly been so gentle.

Jake? What the hell are you doing? I quickly push him away,his face looking shocked at my strength. I put my jui jitsu to the test and grabbed his forearm and twisted it backwards.

Oww! Kiri stop! I'm sorry I'm not trying to hurt you I'm just trying to talk to you about what you heard inside!

His face was contorted in pain so I knew he was telling the truth.

I slowly let go of his arm, keeping my hands ready in case I needed protection.

What do you need to say I said a little too harshly. He flinched at my tone and opened and closed his mouth like a seal. Kiri it's just that ... You need to.... I

OK thats enough I need to get to school so if you'll excuse me ! I was starting to get scared I backed away from him while he mumbled incoherently , not realizing that I was walking away. I was in my car seat when he started to yell my name over the roar of the engine. Kiri, Kiri! stop! I was scared I drove off as fast possible, leaving him in the middle of the Starbucks parking lot. Grabbing my book bag I ran inside my school. I bumped into Wren when I walked to my locker.

Kiri? Sugar are you OK? What happened you look like you've seen a ghost!

I will tell you later Wren I'm going to be late for History, I glanced at my watch realizing that I forgot to set my alarm clock back for daylight savings time I was 2 hrs early !

Wren why are you so early?

Ha I should be asking you that !

She was three shades of crimson while she said that and was fidgeting with her hair.
