Hannah's P.O.V.
"Dad, I get you are trying to make this day special, but this is my last day of High School, and my friends will be crowding me, saying goodbye, and I want to hang out with them today. Ok? No hard feelings? I mean, I know that Nadine and Vanessa are both in your class, but you have to lay if on thin, not on thick. I will miss you. No go to your car, I'm a big girl." He looked at me, tears filling in his eyes. "I know," he stammered. He pulled out his prized possession, a handkerchief my mom gave him on their honeymoon. He blew his nose then continued. "I just can't bear loosing you after I lost your mom. Your all I have left of her, my dear Charlotte. I..." He burst into sobs.
My mom had died 10 months ago in a car wreck. She was traveling home from visiting her mom, my Grandma Elizabeth, and we got the news a day later, after she had died in the hospital. And the worst part was, she was pregnant and actually gave birth to my 10 month old brother, Jonas. Tears began to brim my eyes. I missed her so much. "I know dad, I miss her to. Just remember, I will always be with you. I will write to you and will visit at least once a month. And I love you." I gripped his had, and he squeezed it back. He didn't let go until a boy, around my age of 17, walked up.
